Children

You most probably noticed by now ,
that these days I post on subjects that my loyal
readers and dear friends mention in my comment area,
i.e. "it is a can talk,"
th Mythbuster's gas post,

Tonight I will post a kids post. My Russian dear friend Olgita and her husband
just had a newborn baby boy.
His name is Savaya.
Best wishes goes to this precious boy .
Kids are the light of our lives.
They always make me happy...
I know this video will make you laugh ,
and feel happy too !
Enjoy!

Good thing God makes little one out of rubber. Otherwise they would never survive childhood.

starree 27. October 2009, 04:15

aww  also good thing that many things are made to be bouncy to prevent kids from getting hurt. My mom watches toddlers and babies for a living, it's always funny to watch the way they see the world (and the things they do)

scott cumming 27. October 2009, 04:24

funny little munchkins.... i laughed at all of their little mishaps. the best was the table tipping...
what's funny is that i can laugh even though they might be hurt like the santa hat in the eye. ouch!! that smarts.

Stardancer 27. October 2009, 04:34

There is nothing so special--or contagious!--as the laughter of a baby.

awww

I don't think mine were in one past 18 mos., maybe even younger. As soon as they learned the impulse to climb, I lowered one side of the pen, then they could go in to play or get a toy when they wanted. Plus, it was a good place to put all the toys so I kept it out for quite a while.

Except when my son was little, the play pens were made differently. The openings were at the bottom. He soon figured out how to lift up the pad, open it and crawl out from underneath. He didn't think I could see him and was crawling out very quietly, then suddenly I was standing there in front of him. Hahaha, mama surprised him. His eyes got real big then he attempted to crawl back underneath but he got stuck because he couldn't open it from underneath. That's when I laughed and pulled him out from his predicament and, together, we folded up the pen and put it in the closet. There was no way to lower a side back then to keep it out as a toy holder.

Pam

I love your memories

it is true,
some kids are very advanced,
my son was a VERY active child (still restless in a very positive way),
my young was/is an easy going... different behaviors,
we never used playpen since I had a nanny at home and they did have their own beds available.
Daycare centers use playpens for sleep of young babies till they are old enough to sleep to beds

Jurjen 27. October 2009, 18:51

 Funny! and sad as well. Some things you can see coming, and still the cameraman/woman does nothing to prevent it from happening... :frown:

Angeliki 28. October 2009, 01:36

:frown: sad to see that a video is more important than the safety/protection of a child...However in many of these cases things come out of nowhere... PLUS if they stop them on time how we can possibly wittiness such a precious group of kids?? huh??? you tell me....

Stardancer 28. October 2009, 04:05

My grandson is doing well. I'm hoping to get to spend some time with him and my granddaughter, son and daughter-in-law in early December.

Is that expressing happiness? I have to ask, because I really couldn't tell what to think of that behavior :D

Angeliki 29. October 2009, 18:24

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh now you enter the "parents accept all behaviors zone" I will suggest you just wait another 10 years for that... you just nee to trust me :D

Jurjen 29. October 2009, 18:49

I don't know what you're talking about, but I'm not even close to accepting that behaviour!! :D
