Am I a Hoarder??

my Bookmarks list became enormous!!! :eyes: I am an on line hoarder!!!
please tell me I am not alone !! :cry: why am I keeping all these links if I can not find them again???
Definition:Hoard a stock or store; something accumulated.

Besides Bookmarks, I have discovered recently how handy the Notes app is. I have a big, long book of notes. I wonder if there is a limit?

No, you are not alone. A year and a half ago, when I had a pc crash, I lost all my favorites. That sure cleaned everything out good. But now it is back to what it was. Plus now I have Opera browser and have favorites there too. Think I'll go get rid of a few or, at least, organize them better.

In the past, my kids have suggested to me that I am a hoarder at my home. I suggested to them to watch the show "Hoarders" on tv. I have only watched it a couple of times to assure myself that I am not what they say. It is very depressing to see. They no longer call me one.

I have heaps of bookmarks too. I think it would be cool if MyOpera made a system where you could put them into subfolders, to organize them. :up:

click bookmarks. bookmark page.... add bookmark popup has choices... add folder. name it, say health... then when you find some site you want to remember that it had good health material. when you are on the site, click bookmarks, scroll down to your health folder and open it. add the new bookmark.

since it is automatically alphabetical, i cheat and keep some near the top that i use often, like 'a zenophobe' get it? of course banks is high enough to just be called 'banks'.

i think most people are natural 'pack rats' i try to throw something away every day. :smile:

in real life what I do not use goes to "Good Will" immediately

I think I just have 8-10 useful sites where I can make stuff or they help me make a blog post.
I organised the blog like a mini web site, so I have pages dedicated to different types of info & help which are link heavy.
My operamini on the phone is pretty empty in itself though.

I do the same as Chass. I use folders, like: movies, blogs, news, weather etc. In that way I ordered hundreds of interesting websites. In my toolbar I hold the most used ones in folders and have only Yahoo!m Opera Blog, Drudge, YouTube, Wolfram|Alpha and Google Translate 'naked' for a quick access. Here a few of my bookmarks:
