many times we imagine our Opera friends according to their picture display.
Some of us use pictures of well known people. :smile:

Yesterday and today I got many private massages from my Opera friends that wanted to know how I look like in real life .
I use Bette Davis' picture after receiving inappropriate msgs about my own picture.
Since I know my friends are not among the people who sent those msgs ,
I will do post the real me here and the post will be accessed by friends only.
I suspect it all started because of Naomi's latest post..

yes, my eyes are green and
I am trying desperately lighten my hair a few shades. They are black blue not easy to make lighter.
That's why I use Bette's picture :smile: (among other reasons :D ).

i didn't get to swim yesterday... no gas and my bike has two flat tires.

sure, i have a count. four children that i know of, six grandchildren so far. one wife of six months, one lifetime friend (mother of my oldest son jonathan, that's julie), jonathan has ten half-brothers or sisters because julie had six kids by five fathers.
i only have one brother and he has five boys and one girl.
i don't count my two step brothers although they are our friends. (i introduced my father to my stepmother when i was 15... funny huh?

i'm scanning pictures now, just for fun which go back to my great grandfathers. and you'll love this; some baby pictures of me.

i have painted portraits of the younger children ryan and caitlin. jennifer would never pose. also i did a life-size portrait of my wife of 34 years, jean. it was inauspiciously destroyed when the car carrier flew of the roof of the car on a rainy night and hit a semi going about 80 miles and hour. the largest piece i could find was about the size of my hand. we were taking it to her mother in tennessee for a christmas present.

heart braking!!! I can not imagine something like this happening in one of my drawings!
It's one of them it feels like a child of mine born from my hands .
I have a couple of paintings I did for Michael. I was 19 at that time and I wanted so badly to give him something that he would love.(he would even if it was just origami) .
Since he was raised in Egypt I did order papyrus through a friend in Cairo.
Little I knew that the surface is so absorbent it needed special treatment and drying time btwn the next step...
Well I did ruin a couple of them before I drew scenes from Nefertiti's life.

Now I see them and I smile.I keep almost close to nothing from my creations.

God Bless all your family members! I am sure eventually you will do the portraits of the other two kids. They might not say any thing but when you draw the two of them ,the other two hope to have the same :smile:Trust me on that!

I am so thankful you will scan your old pictures!
I hope they come out good...I did try to scan the black and white baby pictures of mine, in a IBM and a Brother scanners I have ,
but the value of the pictures didn't come out as I hoped it will.
Now I have my eyes on a new toy.
Sharper Image sells it .It is a new type of scanner with great possibilities.
I am confident that my kids bought it for my Bday.
If not I will buy it :D

Speaking of purchases.
Even the word gas makes me upset!!
The prices are so high, every thing is going up and higher! :frown:

thanks Matt, I needed the good wish. I had a tough day and business wise it went very well,
despite of a dumb thing I did in my personal life(which I regret), the day so far went well.
