My Opera friends know by now that I love animals,
All animals, small or big..
As for domestic animals ,
I am more of a dog person than a cat person.
In a New York City apartment,
it is easier to have a cat than a dog ...
That's not only because they are smaller (most of the times),
but more quiet than dogs too.
Neighbors can not complain that your pet had them up all night .........
That will be if you don't have a chatty cat!
In this video these two cats can remind us that chatting can go a long way!
According to their owner, they car chat for an hour or so!!!
Oy!
I am so happy that my kids' cats
are ignoring each other!:lol:

Funny... We (still) have 3 cats (left) and they purrr as well. BTW we have 6 dogs next to these cats. Cats and dogs love eachother (and us). Just a huge family together with us. But now: if you have a cat try to imitate what you heard, that 'prrrrrr' sound. Notice that your cat will come to you!
To follow up on a command a cat takes about 30 or more seconds, so be patient, but wait to see that happen!! Prrrr....
When I 'prrrr' to my wife strange things may happen in contrary!

it is the
same like my spinach pie,
only you replace the spinach with chicory :smile:
you have to wash and boil the chicory for 15 min and drain it well :smile:

I am glad you were able to watch them!

I opened a note pad with links of videos that either I am not able to watch or I am always on a hurry to see them when I want to,
if I am stressed or if I have a 15min or so time,
I go back and I have a laugh!

Been a busy weekend with the All-star game and all the other events going on I got some good gigs. Next week I get to work at the Arch, busy, busy, busy... Are endives the same as leaf chicory? My italian grocer says they are, I only have ground chicory in my pantry for coffee, I like to add a scoop to my pot for a treat.

I like chicory coffee,
the bitter taste is very leasant on the palet :smile:
I had it many times and I wouldn;t mind for a cup of chicory coffee :happy:

The Gateway arch is a giant stainless steel croquet hoop on the Mississippi river, 630 fett high,( http://files.myopera.com/dbshadow/albums/662039/thumbs/arch.jpg_thumb.jpg ) with a museum and a tram to take you to the top viewing area, not for claustrophobics, never been to the top, got enough of the high stuff painting bridges. I have an a/v system to install in the basement.:yikes: :angel:

Live within 50 miles of St. Louis, in the Illinois countryside, my last adoptive family lived here, so I moved back after regular moving for my job. We have all the seasons here and it's not too crowded. Now work when I want, where I want, can't play anymore but know a lot about the technical end.
P.S. Nat King Cole is my favorite too.

I love the four seasons,
one reason I like New York is that you feel Spring or Fall..
I love warm weather and I might eventually move into a warmer one ,
in 5-10 years from now...

Not too hot, I used to have an apartment in Hollywood Florida (Btwn Ft. Lauderdale and Miami).
The place was amazing on the 19th floor facing the Ocean and the Olympic size pools were heaven,
but I couldn't stand the heat...
I sold the place and I never regreted.
Naomi lives in St.Louis a.k.a. CultureSurfer
and Richard a.k.a..Musickna.
Now I know if I ever visit, to let you know in advance !
