HotforWords is good fun, and no longer wet behind the ears.

PainterWoman 31. July 2009, 15:29

She is very cute and smart showing a curiosity for the meaning of words and phrases. She definitely has a 'hot' thing going.

Charles Schloss 31. July 2009, 15:40

A word history leason woot :hat:

night wolf 31. July 2009, 16:22

:D

Allan 31. July 2009, 16:36

I have never been innocent. Is it alright if I watch the video anyway?

Darko 31. July 2009, 16:51

I am still young, innocent and naive

Dacotah 31. July 2009, 16:55

Many years ago I was. :D

Darko  p: :D

Kittylicious 31. July 2009, 17:28

For some reason I do not like that woman on the video. :left:

L2D2 31. July 2009, 17:30

I am too, Dare. Still wet behind the ears. And don't think I have ever seen an English teacher like that before.

dbshadow(Deacon Blue) 31. July 2009, 18:37

I shall "DEPilate" my barber tomorrow and not get a haircut, but when it gets too long she usually makes me set in the chair for a long time while she snips and combs and snips and combs and......because she knows I hate the barber chair, it's too much like a dentist chair.
I am still "naive", and a virgin tooo...  nervous :cat:

Stardancer 31. July 2009, 18:41

Ditto, Zaphira.

I've seen other videos of this woman where she's singing.

:yikes:

Kittylicious 31. July 2009, 18:43

I am so glad that I don't have to watch that! :yikes:
Thanks for the warning, Star!

Jurjen 31. July 2009, 18:50

I'm wet at a completely different place, I guess that rules me out as being innocent, doesn't it?.... :left:

To be serious I kind of agree with Zaphira. But somehow I still enjoy those video in a way!

scott cumming 31. July 2009, 20:03

i have always been a sucker for word derivations. i didn't know that one.
if i had had a teacher like that one in school i know i would have paid better attention. my ears dried up around six years old.
thanks for the instructive video meli

Angeliki 31. July 2009, 20:46

hahaha Darko,
those trips to the country side made you watch the animals, no?

that's how I learned about the birds and the bees..... p:

Angeliki 31. July 2009, 20:47

Carol,

you might not be naive,
but I am proud to call you "my most honest Opera friend "

Angeliki 31. July 2009, 20:49

Zaphira,

I did a post on her last summer a nd going back to it I see that her accent wasn;t that strong...hmmmmmmmm I wonder why she sounds like this here....
howver I think she grabs the attention of many and they learn when they are not even aware of it :D

Angeliki 31. July 2009, 20:50

Jurjen ,

 you are sarcastic again ! and you know how much I love it!

I wouldn't expect anything less from you

Angeliki 31. July 2009, 20:52

Linda,

you are such a daring woman!
and I love when you make "Dare" blush :D

Angeliki 31. July 2009, 20:54

She didn't have the accent in those videos, Angeliki.

Seems it comes and goes at will.

:D

Angeliki 31. July 2009, 21:38

 Jurjen  always!!

w00t! Madonna is not the only one then!

starree 31. July 2009, 23:25

she sure knows how to grab the attention but I maybe her accent is fake? I don't know but that's interesting tidbit of info

Dacotah 31. July 2009, 23:46

:o: Angeliki, Thank you so much my friend.
Love you.

Angeliki 1. August 2009, 00:00

Anne,

I believe the accent is fake
now about the bewbs.......

Angeliki 1. August 2009, 00:00

I love you very much too Carol,
and I mean it from the

Matthew 1. August 2009, 00:35

I believe the accent is real (her name is Марина Орлова), as is her philology. It's the bewbs I think are fake.

starree 1. August 2009, 00:46

well the boobs may be fake but I must admit, they look nice..but then there are very good push up bras I hear

Angeliki 1. August 2009, 00:50

somehow I was going to be more upset if the accent was fake than the bewbs!

I do watch every single video she comes up with and I have to admit that she is very effective !

(her lessons that will be :D )

starree 1. August 2009, 00:50

 whatever works to get education to the people right? :hat:

Angeliki 1. August 2009, 00:53

exactly!

when I was teaching Greek I was playing 99% of the time games with the kids, I have a couple that they still email me and they remember of how much fun they had! except of one!
he is another kind of emailer! :D

somehow I missed this one!

videos pay "plastic ( . Y . ) too " not that there is anything wrong with it if you are into it!

starree 1. August 2009, 01:37

aww (about teaching Greek!)

Well I luckily don't have any issues in this area (really that is luck!) but my past coworker got them, she said people called her a boy and it was so hard to get over, so eventually she bought them!

I can understand that, and she didn't go overboard, I wouldn't have known if she hadn't told me, she said it really hurts the first few weeks because you aren't used to that 'weight'. interesting!

Angeliki 1. August 2009, 01:45

when a woman is "flat"
it might not bother her much
untill others point it out,
then it is a choice,
let it bother you or ignore it..

as a woman with no such issue
I can not relate or judge the ladies,
however
if I had no ( . Y . ) I was going to use my other assets.
Every woman and every man has something very attractive, a smile, the eyes, the body movement...
I do not even wear fake nails (ok if I had to for an event it was going to feel realy odd ).

starree 1. August 2009, 02:26

very good point! I don't wear anything fake either like nails either, but then I think you are right, it's a choice. When my teeth were crooked as a teenager I decided just to make the rest of me pretty, well it worked somewhat, never had trouble getting boyfriends. :o:

I guess it depends a lot on attitude too!

Dacotah 1. August 2009, 02:27

Thank you Angeliki, I know you mean it from the heart.
Your heart is full of kindness and love.

Darko,

somehow the playgroud of the village my dad was serving when I was 8 years old,
was next to the "bull house" of the village.
All cows were brought over for a reason!
Man,
i did love going to that playground!
