America the beautiful :heart:
Specifically the Grand Canyon in America.
It is magnificent!
It is a natural attraction that is hard to forget...
The Hualapai Indian tribe added another man-made attraction in the same location,
a Skywalk on glass ,
Take a 4,000 feet walk above the bottom of the Grand Canyon ....
Enjoy !!!

gave me butterflies in my stomach. cool though. just the thought of walking out on the skywalk got me. :heart: wouldn't it be something if they had it go all the way across.... just a band of plastic with a good rail...

In the words of Garcia de Cardenas the first time he saw the Grand Canyon -- "Ho...oly Shit!"

I remember reading something about that a while back. I'd have to agree with Scott...I wouldn't want to go out on it. But I would stand on the edge of the canyon, ten feet back from the edge, of course.

More to my liking would be Dismal Swamp in Australia. They have this walkway erected above a sinkhole, and you are literally walking through the top of the rainforest. How cool is that?

Not sure I'd want to walk out on that thing.:eyes: They'd have to pay me.

I'd rather hike down into it again. Only takes four hours down Bright Angel. My sister and I did it about 15 years ago. We spent two nights at Phantom Ranch then hiked back out. Hiking back out took 8 hours. :faint: We took a different trail out which wasn't as steep as the Bright Angel but was longer. I wish I could find all my photos of that trip.

I did climb with Michael the mount Olympus an experience I will never forget..
