DJ Krush - Oumupo 6 (2006)
Born in 1962 in Tokyo. Gifted producer & DJ with a superb sense in Mixing and composing his sound who's been greatly received in the international club scene.
It was the movie "WILD STYLE" that got him into hip hop in the early 80's, and in 1987, he formed DJ Krush POSSSE which made numerous appearances in various media as the best hip hop act in Japan. DJ Krush began pursuing his solo career after the break-up of the group in late 1992, and soon grabbed people's attention as the first DJ to use turntables as live instruments, doing free sessions with live musicians on stage. Released his 1st album "DJ Krush" in January 1994, and since then released countless records in Japan, Europe, US and around the globe. All his solo releases have ranked high in various charts in & out of Japan.
Abtract hip hop japanese master DJ Krush offers a wonderfull opus. Using almost only instrumental parts, progressively introduces his so characteristic own beats, and slowly makes us forget the rules and original songs. He uses the most exotic sounds from the label catalogue (E. Aldéa, Narcophony, T. Belhom, Bästard, D Petitgand) and manages to develop his proper language to offer a record which sounds likehis own ones. Freedom by the constraints for our great lessoning pleasure !

The Devilz Rejects (Jus Allah & Bomshot) - Necronomicon (limited edition 2007)
Like a second, more graphic coming of the Gravediggaz and with the same name as rocker Rob Zombie's 2005 horror flick, Bomshot and Jus Allah go a long way toward resurrecting horrorcore rap on the intensely savage Necronomicon. The album title, named after a famous horror text meaning "Book of the Dead," foreshadows this album's focus on death, religion and the occult.
Allah, formerly of Jedi Mind Tricks, and Bomshot deliver heavy-handed rhymes filled with wicked imagery and morbid themes. GZA appears on "Universal (a.l.l.a.h.)" and "Vengeance," adding some lyrical heft.
With thunderous production on "Apocalypse Now," "Deadly" and other cuts, it might take a moment to realize that Bomshot and Jus Allah are talking about their macabre murderous meditations. Necronomicon isn't for the faint of heart-and it wasn't meant to be.

Can you Flow? - instrumental renditions of Nas illmatic (2006)
All he needs is one mic, even if The Source gave him five. An instant classic and a must have for any record collection, Nasir “Nas” Jones’s debut album Illmatic was his promise to the hip hop community that it would be saved. Nonstop in its delivery, the album is filled with raw emotional accounts of a boys life spent in the projects of Queensboro, NY. Though Nas was just 20 years old at the time, Illmatic showcased the experience and knowledge of a veteran hustler. Sometimes life’s good, other times it’s very painful, but it’s all real, and straight up hip hop. Fall in love all over again, as Can You Flow? Presents an instrumental recreation of the All-Thriller-No-Filler Nas classic Illmatic.

Hell Razah - Renaissance Child advance(2007)
Hailing from the Red Hook section of Brooklyn, Hell Razah is best known for his integral role as a member of the late 90’s Wu-Tang Clan spin-off group Sunz of Man. Their official debut album, “The Last Shall Be First” in 1998, featured platinum selling artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Wyclef Jean of the Fugees, Method Man and O.D.B. and went on to sell an impressive 350,000 units. Hell Razah also appeared on various Wu-Tang lan albums including Ghostface Killah’s “Supreme Clientele”, Method Man’s “Tical 2000”, Killah Priest’s “Heavy Mental”, The Gravediggaz’s “The Pick, The Sickle, and The Shovel” and many more.
Never one to rest n his laurels, Hell Razah discovered that his no nonsense style of street knowledge and spiritual wisdom was needed now in hip hop more then ever before. Razah joined forces with like minded MCs Tragedy Khadafi and Killah Priest to form the militant supergroup Black Market Militia. He also teamed up with Sunz of Man producer 4th Disciple to record the revolutionary Freedom of Speech in 2004.
Now in 2007, after years of eager anticipation, Hell Razah is set to release his official debut album, “Renaissance Child”. Boasting nothing but powerpacked rhymes, Razah easily holds his own alongside heavyweight features such as MF DOOM, Talib weli, Rass Kass, Killah Priest, Tragedy Khadafi and R.A. the Rugged Man. Even the production team enlisted here is first rate with flawless beats from MF DOOM, 4th Disciple, Bronze Nazareth and more. Renaissance Child’s a meaningful and intelligent record which is a breath of fresh air in today’s stale era of so-called hip-hop. The Rennaisance has begun.

Native Guns - Barrel men (2006)
I was looking for good azn rappers and i was recommended this, and i wasn't disappointed. Here's some info on this Filipino American hip hop duo and their latest release
"Native Guns is a Filipino American hip hop duo from California. Based in both Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area, the group consists of two MCs: Kiwi and Bambu, who have been working together since they recorded "Peaceful Pistols" for Bambu's "Self Untitled" album in 2002. In its lyrics, the group emphasizes social justice and pride in their heritage, as well as solidarity with other people of color. Their lyrics also address the Filipino people's struggle both in the Philippines and in America. Musically, the group's style is diverse, from hard-edged to reggae-influenced to straight-up boom-bap. The duo's lyrics are primarily English, as is the standard for the majority of Filipino American hip hop groups. There is some Tagalog included in their lyrics as well.
Los Angeles born emcees, Bambu and Kiwi, have each released solo albums which were well received in the west coast underground. As a result they have rocked stages with Hieroglyphics, Immortal Technique, The Pacifics, Typical Cats, Abyssinian Creole, LMNO, Lunar Heights and more. In preparation and hype for the new album, last year they released the solid mixtapes "Stray Bullets" and "Thirty-Eight Revolver". After keeping the L.A. underground anxiously waiting for 3 years, they have added a third member (DJ Phatrick) and returned with their official album "Barrel Men", featuring members from Typical Cats, Blue Scholars, and the NG Camp.

Tracks 2,10,14 by Obatron

The Pacifics and Illmind - The case (2006)
Some more azn hip hop for y'all. This time The Pacifics.
"The mighty trio of KP, strike3 (aka. Mr. REXford) and Norman Rockwell create uncut "go ill" hip hop designed to serve the soul and snap the neck. Striving to bridge the gap between the old and new generations of hip hop, The PACIFICS bring versatility to the forefront without sacrificing creativity in their music. A slew of hometown and coast-to-coast performances have earned them a reputation as showstoppers. While all three bring the rhymes, KP also shines on much of the production.
Throughout the years, The PACIFICS have not only performed alongside some of Chicagos best acts, but nationally, theyve also opened up for artists like DJ QBert, Mountain Brothers, The World Famous Beat Junkies, Triple Threat DJs, Bahamadia, Slum Village, Little Brother, Kool G. Rap, Fort Minor and most memorably, KRS-One. "

The Disciple - The Passion Of The Hood Christ (2006)
"Shabazz the Disciple, former Wu Affiliate extrordinaire, cooks it up for you extra raw in this, his brand new, never before heard, street album. Not to be confused with a standard mixtape, these are all original songs, brought to you straight from the artist to you! Producers include Carlos Bess, Godzwrath, Cilvaringz and many others. It is safe to say this is Bazz Unleashed, no-holds-barred, in an all-out attack on fake bullshit in Hip-Hop. This is true MC-ing at its very best!"
This is rare! only 1000 were ever produced!

Q-tip - Live at the Renaissance[2006]
I think Q-tip, a member of the hugely popular group A Tribe Called Quest, deserves a lot more respect than hes getting from the record companies, which have only officially released one of his albums, "Amplified".
This album is supposed to be the leaked album Live at the Renaissance, which apparently is going to be released at some point, but i've heard that this is actually the unreleased Open album, so i dunno, still its decent.
Talib Kweli & Madlib - Liberation (2007)
Talib Kweli & Madlib produce a collabo that should have both sets of fans going crazy. This is made even sweeter by the fact that they provide it free for download!
