Being a disciple of God

Jesus is Lord

Jesus is Lord

In our theme scripture, the Master unveils an important success principle; He tells us something about promotion and recognition, and how they come. He said let your light so shine, before men-all-men-that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Notice He didn't say "Let your voice be so loud"; neither did He say "Let your light so shine before the boss, the king or the Leaders." Rather, He says, "Let your light so shine before men"; that's your mandate! You're to shine anywhere and everywhere; in your family, school, neighbourhood, place of work, state country-everywhere! You're to win and make progress always, no matter the circumstances of your life.
Joseph, the son of Jacob, is notable example in this regard. He was sold into slavery by his brothers, and was later put in prison, after being wrongly accused. Yet, he shone so brightly in the midst of all those difficult times and eventually rose to become the prime minister in a foreign country.
Follow the very simple but instructive principles of Jesus on success, one of which is letting your light so shine before men. The inevitable result is that through you, the livesof others will be affected and improved such that it'll be difficult for your impact to be unnoticed or unrewarded. Note however, that the Scripture doesn't say men will see you good works and promote or reward you. It says instead that they'll glorify your Father who's in heaven who in turn will promote you. Your promotion comes from the Lord(psalm 75:6). Your is to do what's right and not be a men pleaser; and it won't be long before you're catapulted to higher dimension of greatness and prosperity.

Let your Light shine before all men
