A few weeks ago my friend was interviewed on the radio for a piece about art. During the interview he commented on the Swiss Army Knife - He said that it was something that had always fascinated him because not only was it functional, but it was a piece of art. I got what he was saying. It made me wonder what functional items that I use on a day to day basis I would consider art. A few days ago I recieved in the mail my new iPod Shuffle. The packaging and the iPod were beautiful. Everytime I look at that little music box I am fascinated by the way it holds so many songs and the way it looks. It is amazing. It is like a little piece of jewelry.
