DJ ?uestlove

This is a DJ set by DJ ?uestlove from 4/3/03 in Urtech, Holland. The picture here is not from that, but I like it. It gives you a glimpse inside the mind of Senor Questito, which in my opinion is the mind of a masterfull musician. He is quite diverse. Even though he is mostly known for his stuff with The Roots, he can hold it down on the drums with just about anyone. (Check for the new Monday Night Football theme comercials with him, Hank Williams Jr., Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worlell, Chris Burney(Bowling for Soup), Charlie Daniels, Joe Perry, Little Richard, and some others.) Or, if you need proof, check out this set from therootslive.com, where he plays with Herbie Hancock, Pino Pallidino, and Lionel Loueke. I labeled this DJ thingy CD 1-3, but I guess it is really Set 1-3, I don't really know how it would track on CD's, but I'm pretty sure each set fits on a CD. This is a pretty straight up party mix. He doesn't really scratch it up at all. It's mostly mixing, some "jump cuts" between songs, but I think it flows pretty well. He goes through different sections like old school, soul, and a bunch of others. It's all the stuff that you like. I think it may be a straight patch because it sounds really good. Like I said, throw this on at a PARTY, and get down.

<---Can you name all of those famous afros????
