Portishead - Dummy
This is the first upload that I have used sendspace for. It seems to be better than rapidshare> I guess a lot of people hate rapidshare. I suppose I will use sendspace for a while, and see how it works. If someone would like ot suggest something else, send me a message.
Anyway, this album is really moody. There is really no way to describe it without using that word. It is also solid. She does a great job with the vocals, and I don't really feel like writhing about it. Go to amazon.com or some other music site, and you will see a bunch of reviews.(most of which use the word moody) Instead, today, I write about "The Peanut Butter Solution".
It was an old 80's movie that my brother and I used to watch. I only had vauge memories of it. One scene in particular where the little kid is walking down the street, and he is afraid to step on the ants, so he walks on his tip toes. So I ordered it off of the internet,a nd am going to send it to my brother for his birthday. I jsut watched it, and....spoilers....The general story is that this kid goes into a burnt down/haunted house that homeless people used to sleep in. He gets scared by something, and falls out of a window of the house, and down a garbage chute. He passes out, and his sister caries him home. He wakes up, and he looses his hair. The doc says that it is because he got so scared. He gets really embarrased, and doesn't want to go to school. He gets a visit from some ghosts (the homeless man and woman in the house), and they give him the peanut butter solution, that will make all his hair grow back. It has all types of gross stuff like dead flies, and dogshit or somehting. He makes is, but he puts in too much peanut butter because his first batch is not thick enough. So then he wakes up, and his hair grows uncontrolably. They make him leave school because his buddy has to cut it all the time, and it gets in the way. His art teacher kidnaps him, and uses his hair to make brushes and other stuff. He also kidnaps other kids to run the warehouse that he uses to make the hair brushes. Overall, it is an odd movie, and would never be made today, but that was a different time in movie making. So there you have it. I go now. Oh yeah, and the music was done by the wonderfull Celine Dion.
And also, I can't track if anyone is downloooding with the sendspace, so the comments are neat.

You share some great music here - so thank you! On the other hand I happen to have no problems with Rapidshare and look forward to when I see files uploaded to them. Whatever works for you my friend - keep doing it.
