my php-driven thoughts

Yes, well after few years of /(programming|system administration)/ and couple years of working as /(web-master|sys-admin|web-developer)/ i still know nothing about benchmarking of algorithms or benchmarking systems. My knoledge finishes after testing load balancing of /(web|database)/ server @ work, firewalled traffic and simple my-written utilities for performing simple tasks on administrating my pseudo-server @ home.

Now it is just too much to be tested in web application area and i can't ignore (or postpone) my thought labeled as [LATER]. For now i'll just begin with simple function which mesures time of execution for my written algorithm or code (let's say dealing with <select> issues).
