The Realities Of Life !

What would do if you are in that situation?

One day, God Himself, from way up in the Heavens looked at Earth and He wasn’t exactly that happy to see what is going on. So God said to his Angels, “bring to Me immediately Obama, Putin, Jintao, Osama and Mir because I have something very important to say to them”.

Instantly these people was brought before God. God looks at them and says, “I am not please at all to see what is happening down there. First of all, Earth was a beautiful planet but you people, taking advantage of the word ‘developments and progress’, is destroying Mother Nature. Secondly, I am getting fed-up with the on-going wars and acts of terrorisms. I want you people to stop all of these and I am giving you just 14 days to do something about it because if you don’t, I will destroy the planet”. Obama, Putin, Jintao, Osama and Mir was send back to Earth.

Immediately Obama, Putin, Jintao and Osama calls for an emergency meeting with their most important people. They said, “God is not happy and He is giving us just 14 days to clean up things or else He will destroy our planet”. Naturally everybody was so shocked to hear the news and without wasting much time anymore after the emergency meeting, starts to rectify whatever damages that had been done.

Mir also calls for a meeting with his friends and told them what God had said. “I have 1 bad news and 1 good news. The bad news is that in 14 days time God will destroy our planet. The good news is that we all can forget about our job and the sickening date-lines”. Naturally everybody sat in silence and got pretty scared. “So Mir, what shall we do? 14 days is such a short time given.

He look at them and just smile. “Yes, on my way down from the Heavens I have already pondered upon God’s ultimatum and I know what we can do. Effective from this moment onwards, first of all everybody is given an immediate 3 months salary. Secondly everybody stop working and take a vacation. I don’t know what Obama, Putin, Jintao or Osama is going to do and neither am I concern about it at all. We have only 14 days left and what God has asked for is much too big. So, let’s enjoy ourselves while we still have the time. Those of you who is afraid and can’t take the pressure waiting out for the 14 days, do yourself a favor. Just go to the window and jump. After all, this is the best time for you to learn how to fly, if you can! Me??? I am going fishing!!”

Amiruddin Alauddin PhD (Harvard) 28. April 2009, 10:07

I see....follow the honey drops eh? That's reminds me 'bout something. There was these 2 guys went out hunting. One, went looking for ants and the other, an elephant.

The guy that went after the ants does indeed gathers a lot but the elephant hunter got only one. Only one but the meat gathered last much longer than eating those ants. So Jada, which is you?.....going after ants or the elephant? :right:

Uwe Vogt [aka JaDa] 29. April 2009, 02:28

As Fresh as It Gets: Everyday Ants

Amiruddin Alauddin PhD (Harvard) 29. April 2009, 05:20

Hahahaha! Yes JaDa, your's is fresh while my meat (from the elephant) is not. Anyway, should I ever bang one, I gonna give you one of it's ivory task and it should make a lovely set but expensive chess pieces.

Nice story..Im going fishing too :D Join me?

Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

16Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

17And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

18And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.

19And when he had gone a little farther thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.

20And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.

21And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.

Amiruddin Alauddin PhD (Harvard) 23. May 2009, 14:11

You are going fishing too, JCC? We have a big difference, my friend, I going to bag myself a gamefish like a nice sailfish. In your case, you are a Fisherman Of Man.

Anyway, good luck! :coffee:

jesuschristcrescendo 23. May 2009, 14:24

Why not both like the disciples? Good luck to you also. Jesus will use a small fish to feed 30 thousand  sailfish are too beautiful to be caught for just to go on some wall as a trophy...try a 40 pound tuna instead :D tastes just as good as swordfish.

Amiruddin Alauddin PhD (Harvard) 23. May 2009, 15:52

 I don't go after sailfish just to later hang it in a wall as a trophy. Once caught and brought onto the boat, me and my friends will remove the fishing hook and release it back into the sea. All that I am interested in is the thrill of "having a fight" with the fish.

Going after the great white sharks near South Africa, in the waters where the Atlantic meets the warm currents of the Indian Ocean?? Forget it!! Those monsters are not to be mess with. :yikes:

jesuschristcrescendo 23. May 2009, 16:24

im glad you catch an release :D i caught a record tuna off the outer banks of n.c. once  unfortunately he was lunch...yumm  but man you better not mess with those sharks or you have to walk on water like jesus   did you ever see the movie jaws? my sailboat overturned in the bay so i crawled on top of the boat before jaws got me :D

joanalisboa 28. May 2009, 21:00

with this nice weather?
14 days camping at the beach, not bad! :D

Amiruddin Alauddin PhD (Harvard) 29. May 2009, 11:27

14 days of camping, eh Joana? Wow! can I join you too? Of course I will bring my own tent (enough space for 6 ppl) and I will invite jesuschristcrescendo to join me. After all, the two of us have much to discuss about but I aren't going swimming....I'm scared of the Great Whites :yikes:

jesuschristcrescendo 29. May 2009, 12:31

i accept :D would love to go camping...as long as no scorpians and black widows and giant centepedes like the big island of hawaii  mir you remind me of hawaii.i guess malaysia is very similar?

Amiruddin Alauddin PhD (Harvard) 29. May 2009, 14:45

All I know is that at Malaysia, no sharks. But the jungles, that's a different story because they have the pythons (bigger than the anaconda) and, the King Cobra. rip

jesuschristcrescendo 29. May 2009, 15:32

yikes..lucky for hawaii they have no snakes because they brought mongoose to the islands an they ate them all

joanalisboa 30. May 2009, 11:28

You are not going to swim...because of the cold water, not the sharks! Freezing bug cold up to the bone

Just Gia 2. June 2009, 15:18

hi hi hi :D

Amiruddin Alauddin PhD (Harvard) 2. June 2009, 15:43

If you are in the water, joanalisboa, I wouldn't gave a damm about the cold water or sharks. To swim with you will be such a lovely moment.

Amiruddin Alauddin PhD (Harvard) 2. June 2009, 15:47

לפעמים אנחנו חייבים להיות בעלי הבנה משותפת בין אותנו לפני כל אחד מאיתנו נותן פרשנות שגויה המובילה את הסכסוך מיותר, joana! p:

joanalisboa 2. June 2009, 16:15

behave or deal with the extra pili pili on your mouth

Amiruddin Alauddin PhD (Harvard) 2. June 2009, 16:19

okay okay ... I will behave!

jesuschristcrescendo 3. June 2009, 02:51

behave or you will need the cold bathe in the ocean  jus kidding bro.. now you remind me of Don Ho.No pun intended
what is pili pili btw?hot peppers? :D

Amiruddin Alauddin PhD (Harvard) 3. June 2009, 06:33

Pili pili?? I don't have the slightest idea what's that, JCC, and perhaps joanalisboa can tell me. Hello JL, if you happen to be on-line and reading this, mind telling me what's a "pili pili"??

joanalisboa 3. June 2009, 15:25

someone told me it is called "pili pili" everywhere, anyway where I live is "piri piri"....a small hot spice pepper...but not very nice if eated without food P:

Amiruddin Alauddin PhD (Harvard) 4. June 2009, 14:17

OMG...that's "chili api"! a small spice pepper, when we first chew one of it nothing much happens but just wait for a minute or two. Then we'll feel as if our tongue is on fire and drinking water especially with ice cubes will make things worst. JL..don't you dare go putting such things onto me  If you do, I will burn the pillow that you once gave me.

Yes, I still have it and still travel around with it. It's so comfortable hugging it especially during those long flight hours. Surely you don't think I gonna throw it away knowing that you yourself sew it for me years ago. The blue cover case might already looks season but it's okay

jesuschristcrescendo 4. June 2009, 16:59

 you guys are too funny!!!

joanalisboa 12. June 2009, 11:34

Hugging the past is not good for the present or the future enicom

Amiruddin Alauddin PhD (Harvard) 13. June 2009, 15:25

Without the Past, there is no Present and forget about the Future. And where hugging is concern, I will hug and it's non of your business, Meco-gal p:

joanalisboa 17. June 2009, 18:46

have you been there, the real one?

Amiruddin Alauddin PhD (Harvard) 18. June 2009, 04:00

Oh, you mean Meco Beach? Yes, a long time ago, when life was young and "Runaway Train" is among the favorite songs of a gal from Lisbon p:
