My OperaiMovie WORKS (knock on wood)

As some of you may know, the HDD camera we filmed 20-30 hours of our vacation films in a format that the old iMovie did not understand, making it necessary to process in another SLOW program (importing and exporting a 1 minute of video takes about 5 minutes) before it can be imported into iMovie.
BUT iMovie 08 is the miracle I needed now. It supports the format. It's just to good to be true, so knock on wood. But it does, I'm not kidding. And it imports everything all automatically really really fast.... I started importing about 12 minutes ago, and it's done with almost a third of the clips. I'm in heaven.
AND to top it all, I did some stuff (don't quite know what) with disk utility and the monstrous MyBook non-working hard drive, so now it works, which is a very good thing, because for some reason the guarantee doesn't hold here in Norway so I would have to buy a new more expensive one here if it didn't work. But it does. (Knocking AGAIN)
and it quit unexpectedly. So yeah. But still It IS gonna work.... That is cool. And It'll take about 50 hours less. That is VERY cool.
And I can have the iMovie library ON the MyBook. Even if it's a library. Cool. Knock more on wood.
