Okay, not many days left at all now before we can all relax and say with confidence that no, the world isn't evil, although it may have seemed so the past 8 years.
Hokei, brief summary: You need 270 electoral votes to win. We want the democrats, the blue ones, to win. If they get 270, they win. And the world is a good place. Right now, it looks as if the distribution of electoral votes is as follows:
That's fun, right?
On a less fun note, I got my SAT scores back. I got a 630 in both Critical reading and Writing, and a 680 in Math. Out of 800, those are pretty sucky scores. The reading and writing are the ones that need to be sharpened the most if I wanna get into university in the US... I get to take the test again on the 1st of November... Oh joy. But I guess I'll do maybe a little better... We will see.... They'll also look at my high school transcript (34 points, but at least it's IB) and my extracurricular activities (Yesssss. Though everybody does lots of stuff like that in the US, for the primary purpose of getting into college)...
The reason I really wanna go to school in America is because during most of the time concerned, their leader will very probably be this person:
while the leader in Norway will most probably be this person:
I mean.. HELLO. No wonder I wanna get away from this place. Which is why I'm gonna study much more this coming week
