T Minus 8 days

More exactly 7 days, 12 hours, and 37 minutes at the time of writing, but who am I to be pessimistic?
After receiving word that I have to be vaccinated against Hepatitis B and Meningitis before I leave, as well as testing negative for TB (which will not happen cause I am vaccinated against it and will therefore test positive) I hurried to call the nurse's on Friday, and asked if I could come over and get some shots. Since the nurse wasn't there that day, the lady on the phone told me to come back monday.
So, I came back today. Then I was told, I cannot just get a vaccine against Hepatitis B. I have to test negative first! And that wasn't as easy as the cuts in your arm for the TB test. I wold have to get a blood test. And they could not do that at the nurse, I had to go to the lab at the doctors office. So I went to the doctors office, and since there was a line, I got a little note that said I had an appointment with Dr. Laboratory at 12.30

So, after a quick trip home, some facebook, and some inventing stuff that can go on a pizza, I went back to my appointment with Dr. Laboratory. (It was very funny on the note
)
Now the doctor was very nice, and we talked a little about CMU before she poked me. When I was the needle I got a bit scared, the hole thing was actually big enough to see. Scary. Anticipate hurt. But that went fine, didn't hurt much really
Then she put on a cotton swab held in place by white tape. I know that it will hurt to get this tape off. A lot. Who would have thought it could hurt more to get the tape off than to get the blood test in the first place??
She said I should come back next Monday for the results, they would hopefully be there by 3, which is when my appointment with the nurse was to get the vaccine (if we get a green light from the blood test that is). Now Monday is going to be a very busy day, as in:
Also today, I have finally registered for classes. I see that I should have done that a week before the first of the deadlines, instead of the 2nd. I didn't get into any of my originally planned sections (e.g. I will learn the same stuff, from different teachers, at a completely crazy time of day). Wellwell. Now I know, when I get to campus, register for spring semester ASAP!

So, I will be very very bored in my lunch break
I guess I will have to find some homework to do then

- Take driving test.
- If pass, go take picture, get a temporary license.
- Vote! (you can give up trying to convince me Torbjørn)
- Get blood test results
- If results are in, get vaccine
- Finish packing...?
- Enjoy the remainder of my last day in paradise :'(
