This absolutely enormous wasp came buzzing into my room yesterday. I swear I was so scared of it I used half an hour before I smacked if DEAD FLAT, on the window... Here are my diary entries from when it was crawling around the window BEHIND the curtain to so I had no chance of killing it, and the best thing I could do was write:

Uæææææhhh
Wasp in my room!
First wasp this year. Huge! No windows open or anything.... grrrrrr.
I need an electric flyswatter!

2.
Uæææh again!
It buzzed ONCE and I dropped both my sneaker and my Chemistry study guide!
And if I hit to hard I'm going to break the window...

Ugh.
I killed it.
All praise to the chemistry study guide.
And thanks to Sneaker, Artemis Fowl, and Umbrella for emotional support.
Oh, and flyswatter.
But it doesn't look flat enough.
I'm not sure it's dead.
It's just lying very still.
White stuff came out of it.
Still lying still.
We're leaving early for bird-porn.
Like now, I think.
After dinner anyway.
So no Mac for like 12 hours.
Phone though, and kissofspiderwoman.
And camera of course.
Still lying still.
Will see when I get back from woods.
