An attempt to keep the updates coming

Jeez, I am lazier than I can remember. I actually wanted to write a post on Monday, but I just didn't take the time to.
EDIT: I forgot to hit "publish" last thursday, lol.

Actually, If I think about it I am lazy on several points, in fact too lazy to get out of bed before two in the afternoon anyways. Maybe it's just one of those summer things.

Last night I hit the motherlode in dubstep sound production - I made some new sounds in other words (for techies: I tried bitcrushing lowpassed saw waves and experimented with MASSIVE's Chrome, Carbon and Scrap Yard waveforms. Lush stuff)

And if I lost you on "Dubstep", it's basically a fairly new electronic genre consisting of a bunch of wobbly machine noises and brutal drums. Like this:

Also, amateur musicmakers with a love for Transformers might find this interesting, stumbled over it while reading about The Gathering, a Norwegian computer party.

By the way, my funnyjunk content hit frontpage the other day. Any FJers here - feel free to friend smile

I just drank four cups of hot chocolate, I can't remember it being so tasty. It makes working at Opera even better than it already was smile

Gonna get back to you with a song release whenever it is finished. For now, though, keep moderating. Oh, and I got to figure out this bug that kills Opera from time to time.

I am back at Opera. Back - moderating blogs and helping clear out the never-ending backlog of support tickets. And of course, the ice tea dispenser.

Anyhows; the last two weeks here inspired me to start blogging again. For better or for worse, but probably for worse. I am going to do my best to write something else than "there's nothing to write about", and even when I don't have anything to write about, I'll make a rage comic or meme caption or something, because I am all into that.

Sometimes when I won't be feeling on the funny side, I might share some of my progress on my music (at the moment I am into dubstep and drum 'n' bass), for those who like that.

Some of you know me as theIntern. Some might know me as KlozeKomb4t - for heaven's sake, some individuals know me as "The Gardentrasher" - but most of you know me as Erik.

So what has changed since last time I was blogging? A lot, but here's a fast debrief.

I feel... bigger (in all senses of the word) and more mature. Okay, I lied - I still feel like my mentality is a bad mix of a five-year old's, an elderly grumpy chap and some sort of misfigured character from the game Bioshock, which just so happens to be the most intriguing game with the most intriguing plot and most intriguing everything else.

I still like all sorts of music and Rage Against the Machine is still the favorite, but now I'm more into dubstep, filth electro, drum 'n' bass and other filthy electronica. In fact, I've taken a shot at making the stuff (I am one of the relatively few who actually bought FL Studio, because I am serious about this like a boss) ! Bigups for all other filth addicts out there headbang

I learned about memes just after leaving Opera, and now I am into that too. I browse funnyjunk, memebase and reddit quite frequently.

Also, I am into using the expression "to be into".
Moderator edit: I just stopped. Some fads end quite quickly over here.

Regardless, I am back and better than ever. This time with a blog hopefully over 9000 times more content-filled and interesting!

Oh, and I'll probably like to be your friend.

THIS USED TO BE A DOUBLE POST

Until I eated it.

Rawr.

Hm, how invigorating. I have kinda gotten over my letter to the editor being in the papers here (though google translate isn't all that smart). I don't want to brag, it's only our country's biggest newspaper, and I wrote this in the math class. spock

And today none of the brilliant people sitting behind me in class showed up so I ended up watching failed videoblogs in the class/recess. whoopee! Of course i didn't think about that...

...tomorrow I have this nice long German presentation. Sensing that my German Teacher hates me for whatever reason, that's not the most exciting of events. With those kindergarten children yelling in my ear, this presentation will probably not happen. furious Shush! I've heard your friggin alphabet song nine billion times already.. So I'll just get to work. Wait, what do I hear? Nothing? Thank god! They left! Okay, I am now entering the world of Facebook... I mean Microsoft Office Word.

Mac vs PC - Revisited.

Now here is something that actually isn't about me not having anything to write about.

I'm reinventing the wheel.

Yes, I'm doing what 90% of everyone has done before me, but I'm doing it my way. THIS ARTICLE MIGHT BE EXTENDED - I AM SURE I HAVE FORGOTTEN SOMETHING.

Another post

Yep, it's been a while.

I kinda missed writing blogposts, and that's exactly while I am doing so.

Oh how I've missed this smiley: yes

So much that I'll write another one yes

I really don't know what to write about. So I'll just write whatever comes to mind. Baguettes. Mmmm... Wait a sec.

Yeah, I know! Yesterday I made one of the world's most cheesy dance remixes of a song (Rihanna's "Umbrella" - I hate that song!). So THAT's cool. yes

Oh, oh, and then I got two new guitar pedals. Jams and recordings ahead!

I'll try posting a bit more frequently. bigsmile And hopefully with some pictures.

Back in Black.. I mean McDonalds

As the title suggests, I am currently on a McDonaldsian WiFi connection, typing this very post!

Now, school is starting on Wednesday, and although sitting in class and being bored is not too cool, I want to get out of this social stalemate I've been having lately, almost completely blocked off from the rest of the world.

Meanwhile, my dad is launching a fashion collection for the first time ever, and for now he seems to have forgotten stuff like sleep (which equals more anger and agitation sad ) . It's hopefully temporary though yes

Anyhow, I'm missing Opera already, so the best I could do was write this post for now. I'll be back.

My last day

The week has been so busy that I couldn't post any more posts. Anyhow, today I am leaving Opera Software ASA. It's been a great two months. Thanks for the experience, knowledge and fun.

bye

Note the blog will not go defunct. I suppose I will remain an active user here at My Opera.

And one thing is for sure : I will not go back to FireFox! wink

Go humanity! woo hoo!

Just for a moment, I headed over to BBC news, and I immediately found something disconcerting, if not marvelous. It's quite disturbing, what's happening around the world, in addition to all the whack killing and human rights breaches. down
