One of the best science writers is Joel Achenbach of the Washington Post. His blog as well as his articles are usually gems. Here is an example of his sense of humor which is also razor sharp.

Thanks for the link to Joel Achenbach's blog. I agree, it is funny. I plan to read it from time to time.
I didn't find much science at first. Then I found his recent post that says that evolution is a fact. No, it isn't, nor can it be proved by science. The scientific method itself prevents science from proving evolution, even if evolution were true. Forgive me for being negative. Hopefully I will find more posts about more substantive subjects in science in his blog. I myself enjoy science, especially physics.
