Croatia is becoming an increasingly popular holiday destination, and it is with little wonder. There is no shortage of UNESCO listed cities in Croatia, as Trogir and Split attain to. Also worthy of an extended visit is Zagreb, the medieval capital of the country, which retains much of its original character.

Croatia is popular for the sun seeker of course, and with amazing pebble beaches scattered across the Dalmatian coast, this is of no surprise. With fantastic resorts too, it is a top destination for many. If something more adventurous is required, the scuba diving region in the Adriatic is a must, whilst whitewater rafting and hiking are always good in the mountain regions.

Neighboring Italy, it is no wonder that Croatia has wonderful foods and wines, and this is no better showcased than in the northern town of Istria. Truffles and wines are the order of the day, to really have foodie holidays in Croatia that will be as rewarding as they are memorable.
