Another recall from Toshiba

The notebook issues is started to getting out of hand.
Yesterday, Toshiba had just announced it was recalling 340,000 batteries across its Dynabook and Satellite lines. Unlike the Dell and Apple recalls, however, Toshiba says the defective batteries do not pose a fire risk.
And yes, those Notebook are using Sony Battery as well.
But hey, thing wasn't over yet.
Toshiba was one of the first company that post up a notice, clarify that their line of product wasn't affect by the Sony battery issue.
Don't believe me? Here is a screenshot taken today.

And here is the Google cache in case they delete it.
This may be sound weird and show us how a typical big company respond to such incident. Cover everything up and trying to blame/get rid of the problem. At least Toshiba is ready to launch a recall, is a bit slow but at least they are taking the responsiblity.
So, Dell taking the lead, Apple running at second, Panasonic and now Toshiba. With the recent IBM explosion in LAX, i believe the battery issues won't just end here.

PS: Funny thing is, we still have company that have great confident in their Sony battery.
