Finally got myself a new toy. My Canon EOS 7D and Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. Love the awesome depth of field immensely! 
That's just a test shot. It's actually a decapitated Jason Statham head that belongs to my brother.
Now that I have this camera and the lens I have always wanted. I should practice using my baby in a studio. Planning to book a studio after assessment and have Ella as my model. It has been a while since I shot a lady. I am also planning on doing a 30 photo/writing challenge with Carsten. We discussed about this before and hopefully we can pull it off! I'm doing the photo bit, of course, while he's going to do some writing about the dreams he might be having in that 30 days. So, 1 photo per day. Challenging. If I manage to pull it off, I plan to do a 365 project. 1 photo each day for 365 days (1 year) and that's an even harder challenge. I will take 1 step at a time by doing this 30 day photo challenge first and see where it will lead me to.
I'm getting quite excited just thinking about it!
In other news, assessment this Wednesday. I don't care what grades I will be getting, I just want to get through to year 3, that is all.
