External Hard Drive

A week ago, I received my new external hard drive from Amazon. When I opened it, there is nothing abnormal, package is OK and accessories is available as advertisement. But after I try it with my PC, I heard horrible clicking noise while running then it died. I were very confuse, so I attempted to try again. I rebooted my PC and connected the hard drive to it but nothing occurred. Then I searched for driver and problem like this from google but found nothing. So, I called customer service to solve this problem and they asked me to send this external hard drive to inspect. Now, I send it for a week but there is no update from them. I still wait and wait.
