Everything that could go wrong went. Luisito didn't go to the gig because he left to a party on Friday and at his house they don't know when he's coming back. My microphone cable got lost and Carlitos didn't fix the effects processor on time. I didn't have a date and the front license plate of my car fell down or something, so I had to pay a reposition. Oh, and someone ate my Snikers u.u

Fortunately for us, Manatito is a great player and was enough to keep the audience entertained. This was the first time Frank went with us to a party and man, he's a real party animal, we had never payed so much for alcohol!

Manatito said the last time that this was the beginning of the end for Spoil3r and I disagree. I think that Spoil3r ended two gigs ago, when Kirbiland was "oficially" closed, at least until we reagrupate and find a new drummer. For the time being, I'll keep on playing with Manato and maybe I'll buy a rhythmbox

Tomorrow I'll go to the Vehicle Control office to have my new license plates issued, the good thing is that I'll have the new design, the bad part is that maybe someone will think that I just lost it to have those new plates!

Inspired by manatito's post, I'll take the time to talk a little bit about Mr. Muffin. For those who don't know, que es casi todo mundo, Mr. Muffin is my Yamaha RBX-260F fretless bass and has been with me for about 7 years. I've never had another bass although I've always wanted a Fender Jazz Bass and my lifetime frustration was to own a Vaccarro X-Ray Bass.

My bass is geared with D'addario Chromes Flat Wound and a Fender Amp, Dickes straps and Ritter Gig bag. I don't have all those gadgets Manatito has but that's fine cuz I borrow from him

I really like my bass because like Carlitos said, I have made it sound in very very many different ways in the gigs, from powerful punch to mellow jazzy and I have recorded twice with it (although the first tape was -misplaced-). Although it would seem that I no longer need any other instrument, I'd really like a Jazz Bass, but who knows. For now, I'm planning on record the second set of new Spoil3r's songs with good old Mr. Muffin.

In case you were wondering, the Mr. Muffin name is inspired by Megatokyo ^.^

Finally! Spoil3r's EP is now available on iTunes.

I know it's not the same as having a CD on the shelves and a single on the radio, but since it's being sold on one of the most popular music stores online, I feel like I've achieved one of this year's purposes in making a quality record of our music and spreading the word about it.

We finished recording this EP on March and it really made me proud to know that we did a good job and now we're finally on iTunes. We are planning to record more songs next March and actually release a CD when then, but for now, the EP will do.
