Unitec
All I wanted when I got out of job was a monster breakfast from Carl's Jr. I had it and then I went to pick up a certificate at Unitec today, and after having the approval from my principal, I had to check in t3h library and at billing that I owe them nothing. Finally and after being asked a few questions, I finally got the papers I need.
It was funny being there after such a long time and I realized that, although it has a lot of classrooms, it's very small!!
Gosh, they didn't even give ma a folder or anything!

car, Spoil3r, Unitec
Coco had been struggling for the last couple of months. First the electrical system, then the escape tube and lately the suspension. On Sunday, I decided that today I would take my car to the service shop to have as much of it fixed as possible.
It all started with a nice washing and greasing, which solved the suspension issues. I guess that something got stuck in one of the shocks and the Karcher finally brought it off. The greasing removed a lot of the noises Coco was making and actually improved the driving.
While waiting for the service guys to finish, we went across the street to have a quote on a board for my back speakers, which were falling from their former support. As the price was reasonable I decided to buy it at once. They had to manufacture it specially for my car so while they were at it and when service was done, Fili and I took Coco to have the escape tube fixed.
It turned out that it was a little loose and had a couple of leaks, so seizing the opportunity I chose to buy a new Miller exhaust, although I wanted a Magnaflow. While at it, my head started hurting for the third time this week. On Sunday I had a very bad headache but today's wasn't that bad.
Well, in the end the car got a lot of things done that it actually needed, but there's some stuff left, like a problem with the speed gauge and the battery charger, but well see about that next week. It has been really hard for me to wake up to go to school at seven, but again: I asked for it.
My classes haven't been that bad, specially Cisco 3. Today I found out that I don't remember a lot of things I should remember about networking, subnetting for instance. I'll try to catch up with that soon.
Tomorrow I'm expecting to go to the Indautor with Carlitos to have the new songs of the band registered so we can start publishing them online, and we're getting ready to record with our new member whose brother is a sound engineer.
Right now I'm so tired, my head still hurts a bit and my eyes are really sore. I think I'm just too tired.

we'll trampoline
finally through the roof
on to somewhere near

And Migue once told me, "be careful with what you wish, for it may become real". The last months I've been thinking too much about Tepeyac and how some of the people I know wake up early in the morning just to go to school.
Starting the day after tomorrow, I'll be waking up at 6:00 a.m. to go to school at seven. That means that I have to go to bed early and stuff, but I've been thinking and I can't even remember how it was to go to school in the mornings. Unitec has this strange schedules where you can skip a day of the week (that's Wednesdays) which I found very appealing.
So tomorrow it's Cisco networking academy, among some other subjects that I don't like but hey, I've been asking for it. Now let's see how does it feel to go all by myself, not taken by my dad or anything

I don't know what else to say, just hope for the best. I guess this'll mean no more late MPORPG's for me! I'm learning how to play
Silkroad Online and I'm getting hold of it and right now I'm level 14 (of 99). In fact, that's all that I use my old HP for! My dad still uses it for checking his e-mail and stuff.
So, let's see how it all goes about my weird sleeping and gaming habits. Let's take open source back to school.

I have actually been here since 7:15, programming under Linux. I can't beLIEve that I actually got up on time. Well, actually I didn't sleep much, just about half an hour. Right now I'm at Data Bases II, just after Distributive Operating Systems. If it weren't for Linux, I'd probably had fallen asleep. I'm taking this time to post because the Oracle service is down and we have to wait until IT restore it.
I don't know what I'll do later today, but I have to take Coco for tire alignment and maybe later I'll get some sleep. What can I say of the Zoo-TV screening?? I was excited, just like I was at PopMart and Vertigo. We got to Dada X when the concert was starting and seeing it with fans made it even better than the real thing.
I remember the last time I had classes on Saturdays, it was last year, this same term. I made an habit of partying on Fridays and not showing up to class, or just coming for roll call.Last night I didn't get much sleep, insomnia got the best of me again.
Insomnia is characterized by an inability to sleep and/or to be incapable of remaining asleep for a reasonable period. Insomniacs typically complain of being unable to close their eyes or "rest their mind" for more than a few minutes at a time. Both organic and nonorganic insomnia constitute a sleep disorder.
Gotta go, Oracle service is up now. Today I'm suppposed to learn how to use SQL Loader.

The day was gray with a few moments of sun. There were still 6 hours left for class to begin and vacation seemed so far away, too short for my taste. Last two terms served the purpose of finally passing the two subjects that were left to finish 4th and 5th cuatrimester in the program. When I went to pick up my grades I finally got to see the subjects that are farther from 7th, of which I'm taking two.
I took too long to sign up, I even received a phone call from sk00l admin, worrying the people that cares for me because I seem to made it apparent that I wasn't going to sign up at all. I went last Friday to pay and make my schedule which for the first time in about a year doesn't suck.
Hours kept running out and there were only 3 left to go, I ate and took a bath. 15 minutes before the time was up I put a notebook in my backpack, looked for a pen and put all the 5.10 Ubuntu disks left in it.
The road to sk00l ain't long, specially at this time. The emergency money was traded for 7.5 litres of gasoline for Coco and 10 minutes later I was parking outside my sk00l, about 10 meters away from my usual spot.
And the class started: "Distributive Operating Systems" which can be translated as "programming client/server apps under Linux using C". I saw several familiar faces that went home with their Ubuntu CD. It was nice to see Julio and his Nintendo DS again, we're taking the next class together, "Databases II" which can be translated as "Oracle". While waiting outside the classroom for the second class to begin I wondered how it would have been if we all studied at the same sk00l, like so many other times.
I came back home not feeling that bad about going back to sk00l, but I feel that the term will go by slowly, and I hate that feeling. We'll have Saturday off because Independence Day so this will be a short sk00l week.

I have taken this subject about a hundred times. Each time I've either failed it or quit. Tomorrow I have the 3rd test I have the right to take, if I fail it I'll get kicked out of sk00l, at least from the ISC mayor. I'm so nervous and I don't know what else to do.
I keep finding Pau's letters everywhere... i don't know how to feel about that. I'm just too emotional right now. I wish the world ended today, then everything will come to the point it's supposed to be. I said I'll wait until the end of the world, everyone is having a good time, except me, I'm still talking about the end of the world... I'm acting like it was the end of the world.
BTW, that's a U2 song from my favourite album: Achtung Baby! Do yourselves a favor and get a copy. Achtung Baby! also contains what is felt to be our song: Ultraviolet (light my way).
I gotta go, have to finish copying nonsense from my notebook hoping it'll be worth a point in the test.

Unitec, concerts
I started to receive grades from my exams from last week, I'm not getting a lot of A's or something, but I'm having enough for what I've been doing. One teacher even told me, excelent for the situation

The good thing is that now I'll have a couple of free hours between 6 and 8 every Monday and Thursday, the bad thing is that I don't know what the hell am I going to do with them, it's a drag because I have to stay for the last class.
Well, we can't have everything.
Last week I went to National Auditorium to see Dream Theater for the third time. I have seen them every time they've come to MX City. The first time they came I didn't even know but a friend told me hours before and we went to buy our tickets for the same day. This time I bought my tickets in advance and I've got great seats.
The highlights were I Walk Beside you and the finale for Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence. They also played The Mirror, which is their first song I heard and it was the reason I started listening to them.

I'm so sick of my sk00l, I'm so sick of Math and subjects that won't be useful in my future life. I have to finish sk00l though, even if I'm doing it in a slower pace than I should. I have learned more working and on my own than that I had been thaught at sk00l, except maybe for Java and some other stuff like Quality, but the rest...
I once had a web design class, and I knew more than the teacher, the same goes for Linux. I don't know what I'm doing here. I have this feeling of just running away, go home and forget all about today. But guess what, I still have to wait 2 hours to take a test. I'm not learning, I'm just going through subjects getting grades to pass.
I just hope...

I'm starting sk00l today, and I'll take most of the subjects I should've already passed, one from 4th, one from 5th and 2 out of 3 from 6th. The other subject I'm taking is 1 out of 3 from 7th. If everything goes smoothly, in aproximately 17 weeks I'll be almost at the pace I should be taking 1 from 6th, 2 from 7th and at last, 2 from eight in the aim of finishing sk00l at most May next year ^_^.
I'm bored of sk00l, I don't like what they teach me cuz I feel like it won't do any good for me in the real world, but it's part of the plan to leave without open circles so I have to finish sk00l no matter what. Bring it on.
Vámonos a Marte!!!

When I stared this term, I knew I was going to take the most hedious classes of all. I don't really like electronics even though I'm studying computer systems. I just wanted to say that I'm finding those classes quite interesting. I just hope to do ok and that this feeling will last all term.
I'm also commited in doing all my homework asignments and practice reports, this would be the first time in years!
I'm finiding Operating Systems II (Linux) quite boring because we aren't actually learning Linux, OS I was far more interesting because the l33t teacher showed us AWK, Grep and GCC (although I'm not as good in C as I'm in Java). Last term I failed Prolog, but I'm not taking is this term in order to catch up with earlier subjects I hasn't taken (Dispositivos electronicos, Analisis de circuitos electricos y Analisis de Sistemas y Señales). Then I can focus on Prolog, Assembler and Electronics I.
