One week a year

Every year, my parents go out on vacation three times. One camping and two to the beach. Summer is beach time, of course. Since I started school at Unitec I don't go with them on the summer trip. I stay at home.
The first two times I was home alone were very exciting, we even made a party on the second one. Now it has become quite normal to be alone for one week. During this week I try to keep the house clean so I don't have to be cleaning on the last day, take out the garbage so mom won't notice that I've been eating nothing but junk food and I make my bed every day.
It is nice to have the house for myself though, even if I don't make a party or a gathering with all the gang.
