Shattered!!

Hello Guys 'n' Gals
This week's update includes good news, scarey news, and just some ranting and raving that we will put down as being normal for a woman of my age!!!
Scarey News first: On Monday I started my first day of annual leave and ended up having a heart scare and being rushed to hospital. It was quite late and I was working on the computer and out of the blue and without warning, I got the most awful pain in my chest. I thought I was going to be sick and so went upstairs....the pain got worse and I totally lost it. Lost control of my breathing, all hot and bothered, neausea, the works. Fred called an ambulance and I ended up at the London Hospital for the night. To cut a long story short, I had been taking some slimming tablets which were very high in caffeine and I had been drinking diet coke all day......result.....overdosed on Caffeine:( I know some of you will be thinking 'silly cow for taking diet pills' but these were herbal ones that I bought in my local supermarket and I was only taking them because I've lost 56lbs and things have slowed down abit and I wanted to speed things up....didn't stop to think what I was doing to my heart
Good News: I got promoted at work and I get to stay in the city and don't have to go back to Tooting. Also, my youngest son Ben and his girlfriend Tara have returned from a trip to America. He had a fantastic time and bought me a souvenier from the 'Whitehouse'......yay!! I am glad they are back....I missed them terribly.
My last bit of news is the best.....James and Vicki have received a date to appear in front of the 'fostering' board. 10th of June is the nail-bitting day. Hopefully they will get the all clear and will be able to start fostering soon. I'll be a foster gran at 45.....woohoooooo!!
Right now back to the subject of work and my weekly moan: My moan for this week is that whilst I was off on leave, no-one covered my work. I was totally p***ed off this morning.
I have so much to do and so little time....lol Mind you, I did want the promotion and I did get it so I shouldn't complain.....then again I am a woman and in the words of Bobby Brown, it's my prerogative!
