Yes... with summer warming the air and skies here in Edmonton,Alberta Canada--most people are content with going to the lake or to a park ,etc.Not me!!I am being called to by that beautiful life of travelling!
Its been far too long for me(just over 2 years since my last journey!)and my feet are beyond 'itchy'!!for a sojourn.
My particular area of this big blue marble that I prefer to focus my travels on is South East Asia--usually starting in ...where else but Bangkok,Thailand and wandering out from there.
Ahh yes ,wonderful,chaotic,frenetic,manic,Bangkok!!
So it is here that I pose a question to you,the reader;that if you were in Bangkok where would you go ?what would you do first as your 'must do' activity?What is it about Bangkok that you love...or hate???
For me it is simply the fact that it is so compltetely different from where I live,but moreso its the 'chaos' I mentioned earlier that grips me and prepares me for whatever else I come across once I set out into Thailand or to the neighboring countries of Cambodia ,Laos or Viet nam and Burma.
To explain,what Bangkok is like is to tell of Temples,food,amazing people ;but really I would be either repeating what could be found in a myriad of guidebooks or on countless websites here on the internet.
But really,You must just go there.You see, for me ,bangkok is one thing.For you its another-so really you simply must just go!Do it!!Its an amazing place!!
Yes there is more to Bangkok and Thailand for that matter than just 'chaos'!For those features please check out my blog for future posts and perhaps I can share and possibly 'paint' a better more astute picture of this place called Bangkok.This is where I begin my travel info,tales and meanderings with you the reader.This will be our 'jumping off' point and hopefully some fun will be had!!
