Pierre Theron

About me

My name is Pierre Theron and I'm lucky enough to live in magical Cape Town in South Africa. I'm a web designer and business owner and my speciality is building websites for used car dealers. I'm not the bigget car nut, and I'm a little embarrassed to say that of all the second hand cars that are on our site, mine is probably the worst! I drive a Mercedes Benz station wagon and every car dealer that I visit shakes his head!

I'm more concerned in the way things work and I like to design user experiences that offer value - I'm a no clutter, no mess kind of person and I don't buy into fads. If a user struggles to find a certain kind of car on our website, then it's obvious that I've not done my job correctly - and I pride myself in making websites really simple for the user.

Aside from design and coding, I'm an outdoors man. In summer I will most certainly be fishing and hiking and in winter, skiing and trail running keep my mind and body in shape. A practical person by nature, I find that this extends naturally to cooking, where I often fuss over a dish for hours. Stews, soups and meat dishes being my favourite kind of cooking.
