Fifties Football Visuals for SOM Football

Always fun to play a 1950s game with the player cards and fields of the time. I think it adds to the contest's visual appeal.
Part I: Customizing fields in your game for 1950s football.
The nice thing about the game is this is done by team in the game. So none of this harms in any way any existing field or end zone customizations for, say, 2008.
TitanMike, who is a tremendous addition to the SOM Football Community, crafted a bunch of endzones and centerfield graphics for teams and eras in SOM football. What I did was pull the selected fields and end zones for late Fifties teams. I will walk you through installing them:
Download (below) to your desktop the archives Fifties Endzones and Fifties Fields, and then extract them:
Go to your SOM game folder, i.e., C:\Strat-O-Matic Football\Graphics\Field and add the fields into this folder. Go to i.e., C:\Strat-O-Matic Football\Graphics\Teams and drop in the end zones.
All that remains now is to open the league manager and add these graphics to each team. Open the league manager and select a season, say, 1957. Using Baltimore as an example, highlight this team, click TEAM on the toolbar above, and select NOTEBOOK from the pulldown. In the bottom right there is a button called INFO. Click on this and a new window opens.
For each team you need to add/change the "center logo" field file to a Fifties Field, and change / add the "endzone" to a Fifties Endzone. Since they are in different folders this can be confusing so be careful. Note that not all teams get a whizzy field or endzone, here is the decoder ring:

Some teams have cool center logos and striped end zones, some teams have just cool end zone graphics or a field logo, and two teams are just plain fields and striped lines, the Chicago teams.
Part II: Adding in Topps Players Cards.
The next file set is just huge, since the SOM graphics package uses BMPs. Can't be helped. Download the eight 57 Photos archives, these are from the 1957 Topps set, and then extract each one to the 'pictures' folder, i.e., C:\Strat-O-Matic Football\Graphics\Pictures :
57 Photos 1.zip
57 Photos 2.zip
57 Photos 3.zip
57 Photos 4.zip
57 Photos 5.zip
57 Photos 6.zip
57 Photos 7.zip
57 Photos 8.zip
The player's pictures will now show up when you look at them in the Manager's lineups, and when they do something on the field, if you have this enabled in your game Options. Note - not all participating 1957 players are in there, and I will try to rectify this by buying, say, a 1958 or 1959 Topps set next. (Paypal donations are always welcome!)
