Children`s day is tomorrow and in this very nice park of Bucharest called Carol's Park, we will go and play a lot of cool games like: "the ducks and the hunters" penguin , "the leaf" hi bye , "country country we want soldiers" knight , and many other games which we used to play while we were kids. And this, thanks to Metropotam.

Do you want to come ?

And DO NOT try this at home !

We went down in the underground !

... and we actually enjoyed it very much. Too bad we don't have that much time to do it more often.

The mystery of the caves are getting more and more interesting. For the first time we actually put step in a big cave and a more serious one.

We walked for 2 or 3 km up and down, being careful where we put our feet on so that we won't fall or get hurt. We smelled the bats shit bigsmile , we walked on mud and slippery sand, we endured the humility of being the last ones in the team, because of the lack of training, but we did good overall.

They actually made fun of us and at some point our friend Doru came to us and told us that the whole team is pissed of because we are too slow and they decided it was better for us to return only with Doru and they would reach us after, because they were faster. So, guided by Doru, we took the returning path but at some point he said he wanted to take some picture and he left us there alone between the bats... and in the silent dark... and it was also starting to get a bit chilly... We stayed and waited but there was nothing in front of us and nothing in the back... and we knew it isn't really smart to find our way ourselves because we didn't really know the way. And before panic would take hold of us, he appeared laughing saying we should go back to the team because it was a joke. MF...

But between the stalactites and the stalagmites and all forms of stones in the light of our flashlight, it is absolutely impressive and unforgettable love

... so hard to build a table

, , , ...

as previously stated in our blog, we intend to build an indoor layout for our trains, approximatively 4.5sqm. but for that, we first need to create the table for it.

We have bought wood (all sorts and sizes), iron "legs", screws, hammer, a jig-saw and everything. The most difficult part was the design.
It had to be: BIG, MODULAR, SOLID, LIGHT, and so on.. in few words: PERFECT.

For two days we've worked on it.. and here it is smile
Now it STANDS, it is solid, we can divide it in small pieces and get it through the doors p

Going to the next step.. terraforming smile

Play these !

We have a passion for board games. Apart from Scrabble (where Marius always wins) and Monopoly (where Gina is unbeatable), we have recently discovered two games of major attraction to us and our friends. Thanks to our friend Mihai, who provided the games.

In order:
1. Mexica

On an existing map, players must build and found districts, then add aztec buildings on them. No luck is involved as each one benefits from a fixed number of moves (action points) and it's all about the strategy to win.

2. Carcassone

Even though is somewhat based on luck (extracting cards), and Gina seems to be always the luckiest, it is still very strategic and tremendous fights are set in motion. One can always use his current card to set up new territories (castles, monasteries, roads, fields), to prevent the other from expanding or to attempt stealing the others' properties. The more players, the more complicated the strategy.
