I am Who I am

I have my own story of life...this is a fairy tale of my life...

INDONESIA vs MALAYSIA

Concern on latest issue of claim on Indonesia's cultures by Malaysia, I am as Indonesia absolutely feel so damn with this claim. We are Indonesian, we are a very high grade nations. We never steal another country's cultures, because we are rich of our own and original cultures of our nation. If there are any acculturation or assimilations of any cultures with Indonesian original cultures, that's a fair thing happened. It's because of globalisation, the traffic of foreigner coming in and out of Indonesia. But once more, INDONESIA never claim any of another country's cultures as our culture. We respect the diversity in this world, because we know and we feel how beautiful it is to be different and unique among others.Yes, because we are-INDONESIA- rich of our cultures, vary and really worthed.

The latest issue was Malaysia tourism advertisement has use Pendet Dance and Reog dance to attract visitors coming to Malaysia, and shown in Discovery Channel. Oh God, come on...the whole world knows that PENDET DANCE is a welcome dance originally from BALI. And BALI is INDONESIA, but except for those who did not pass the geography lesson who don't know that BALI is INDONESIA.

RAFFLESSIA ARNOLDI, this gigant flower known by the world as the one and only gigant flower species live and grown in Bengkulu, SUMATERA-INDONESIA. Even when I visited Kagoshima Flower Park, Japan, I found that there is a picture of Rafflesia Arnoldi, and it is mentioned clearly that it is from
Indonesia. Then how could Malaysia use it as their tourism campaign material.

I am as Indonesian, I want the whole world knows and think clearly, with the deepest of our heart, which is the truth?. Indonesia or Malaysia. I don't mean to make my writing as a provocation or something, but just googling everything about Batik, Reog dance, wayang, rasa sayange song (Feeling of Love), Rafflesia Arnoldi flower, Rendang food of Padang, and even now Pendet dance, all are Indonesia's culture that was claimed by Malaysia.
Even wikipedia.org said that Malaysia has UNETHICALLY claimed Batik as their original cultures. See, so UNETHICAL.

But God doesn't sleep or blind, God will show the world the truth. Even it may takes long time.
Malaysia said that their country is an Islam country, which use Islam law as their law and use Islam teaching in their life. But what now we have seen is that they steal their neighbor's cultures. Is that an Islamic way to do in life???? Is it the right things to steal somebody else's rights???A

Here I said based on the facts, not just grumbling or saying something bullshit. I just thinks that friendship and cooperation are much more brilliant and great thins to do than war or humiliate or insulting. There's no greatest or worst nations in the world. Each has its own positive and negative points. God creates human in nations and tribes, in different religions and believes. It's not for us to make it as big deal or even become a war, but we should face that differences as something to complete each other.

Be proud of our country and our nations is a must, but it's not supposed to be a CHAUVINISM.

I just want the world to know and say, especially Malaysia who has claimed many of Indonesia's cultures, please respect our cultures. It is our heritage and our soul. Our self esteem, our identity as a nation. We are INDONESIA...

I love you INDONESIA...
BRAVO INDONESIA....!!!!

Bromo, never been bored to be there…again and again…PIECE OF MY LIFE FROM KL TO BANGKOK, SO COLOURFUL AND GORGEOUS

Perhaps your ardent protest against a less national but more profit orientaded attac is true in detail but the problem itself as a whole. Look at history and see what ›nation‹ mean.

The state as national state in opposition to the dynastic system was a mean in the political struggle of the now ruling class. In Austria within which ›stat‹ till 1918 lived many peoples with so to say different cultures, traditions, languages and so on, chanceler Duke Schwarzenberg said 1849: for the state there is only one people. Likewise the Russians till 1918, the Soejetunion till 1989, or even China PRCh today.

The problem seems more difficult. An the Malay are only behind the profit. Everything else is of minor interest.

And, tourism, the offspring of the greed, is the mother of many evels of which you describe one.

That's it... but we still keep consider Malaysia as our neighbor country. But I'm sure, the actions of Malaysia by claiming Indonesia's cultures one by one, it's just make them very popular as thieving country. I knew it by reading and watching the cable TV. Even in Australia, USA, it was stated at their tv and newspaper that Malaysia is thieving Indonesia's cultures. We always try to conserve our culture as our heritage of our ancestors.

When we grown the good thing, we will get the good one as a result. And vice versa, Malaysia has groomed a bad attitude, so let the world knows what country it is.

Political, tourism, or whatever is the main reason behind this action...

Again, the Malay - and who in particular is or are M.? - are only in for money and profit. They do not approach cultural identity directly. They don't want to become the superculture/supernation/superstate in the region. At the moment they want to increase tourism even at the cost of others. But this is a normal (capitalist) technique.

To do so some ›business partners‹ are paid for, which if failing will be cut off from their income/budget. So they feel forced to do everything suitable to the purpose. They do not argue on cultural identity as less as as any big ›global‹ company on local people's rights.

This technique appropriate everything for own goods is widely used in modern societies or say states. And there are cases much worse in recent history.

This does not mean you are wrong. But your emphases perhaps is a bit strong.

Well, I know what you mean. If it's because of money or profit, in capitalist technique, we will defend and develop in our way.

We all know that capitalist is something so common in present days. And I think it's because Malay has been for so long time under British power. So, difference in mindset I think. Let they choose their way for achieving their aims.

Because, here in my country, of course we need money and gain for our development and welfare. But, money is not purpose of everything we do... smile

I just wish that all countries developed well, and compete in fair play, also respect each other. That's it.
Maybe what I think about peace is a common thing, but for me ot means so much.

Actually I have my plan to travel to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. But, I feel a bit worry for my own safety. I heard that the immigration of KL is treat Indonesians so suspiciously. It's my friend who had travel to Malaysia said to me.

Well, just let us see what's gonna happen next...
