Fiendish Games

Tonight Sporting Braga play Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane in the UEFA Cup. In order to progress to the next round, Sporting Braga need to beat Spurs by 2 clear goals or win by 1 goal having scored at least 3 goals (away goals and all that). Currently on Betfair you can get 25-1 on Braga to go through to the next round. Given that Spurs have run out of centre backs and last kept a clean sheet back in the days of bobble hats and rattles, I think this is a good bet. In fact, I thought it was a good bet when they were offered at 16-1, which is why I had a tenner on them then. If nothing else, I reckon I stand a chance of laying it off during the course of the match, especially if the Portuguese team score first.

Of course, I'll sh*t myself if they do, but that's football for you.
