Number two son expressed an interest in studying art at school. Trouble is, he said, you don't hardly do any drawing in art - it's all studying Raphael and all that caper. Looking at his latest doodles, he'd end up doing cartoons in the exam, anyway.




OK, it is not high art but I'd love to be able to draw like that. I just don't have the eye.

That's quite talented. Not just that they are fairly accurate representations of the characters but he has that capacity to convey emotions of characters with just a couple of lines in the brow or a mouth quirk. I can barely rise above stick-man level though so I'm not much use here.

Perhaps a useful re-direction of skills possible here?
