Intellectually, I know that H is growing up, but, seeing her day to day, I hadn't really noticed the physical change in her, until I saw this picture that Tom took during their visit.
Wow. She is a proper little girl now, with the only vestige of toddlerhood being her height.
I am also struck by her beauty--since I have nothing to do with it, I figure it isn't conceited of me to comment on it.
At heart she is such a lovely child--kind, smart, determined, positive. I am so very grateful that I get to even know her, much less be her mom.

She's extraordinarily beautiful, and gets more so all the time. She does look shockingly grown up in that picture, though! Could it have been just last January I saw her? Seems like it must have been years.
