Custer Battles / What's Their Status?

, , , , , , ,

Is Custer Battles still around and if so, what name are they operating under?

Anyone who has spent any time working as a security contractor in the Middle East has heard about issues with Custer Battles. They are out of business but my guess is that like Aegis (formerly Sandline in the 70/80s), they will rise up again under a different name. Personally, the Flaccid Penguin knows of a few people who were promised work by CB back in 2004, given MOB dates, and then CB dropped off the face of the earth. Since the fraud hearings I understand that there were a number of operators who were big time screwed over financially.

Follow this link to view the court filings against CB in 2006.

As I dig up more infomation I will add it to this posting. If anyone has information or knows of information links, please post those in the comments below.

What issues are still out there affecting operators in relation to Custer Battles? Lets get them on the table.
