Farzam: "Mr. President, as you and your allies launched a global initiative to combat nuclear terrorism, what do you think is your most important challenge to expose and stop the secretive ambition of Iran's government to enrich uranium, while assuring its citizens that their happiness and prosperity and peace is a benefit within their reach?"
Bush: "Sure, absolutely. Well, one thing is, is to reiterate my belief that the Iranians should have a civilian nuclear power program. It's in their right to have it. The problem is the government cannot be trusted to enrich uranium because one, they've hidden programs in the past and they may be hiding one now, who knows; and secondly, they've declared they want to have a nuclear weapon to destroy people -- some in the Middle East. And that's unacceptable to the United States and it's unacceptable to the world."
In other words - yeah, we're caving on every single fact we've been ostensibly flogging for the past eight years - but that doesn't matter, because we still believe they're a threat. And that's why we're still committed to freedom and democracy in Iran, since those are intrinsically linked to our belief in that the Iranian government is a threat, cannot be trusted with a civillian nuclear program, and must be removed by force. And we're gonna fucking free the shit out of you, you hear! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHTRRHHTHTHHGHGHGGHGGH!!! JALLAA, JALLA!!!
You know - one day people like Bush are going to be shot into the sun, wearing a iridinium alloy space- suit, so they'll be.. almost at the corona before they burst into superheated plasma. Obviously, humanity will at that point, having very much matured from their idiocy in the past, obviously not take any pleasure in their deaths, as such. But I expect it will be a very poetic and artistic event, as well as have something to do with justice, when their remains are spread with the cosmic winds.
