..if you ignore the initial acceptance of the construction about Iran. This is awesome. First time Bush has been grilled on anything. Note the way he asks questions, and pursues the question, as if he actually knows what the fuck he's talking about. This, of course, is unique in the beltway, because most journalists actually are, as Bush childishly alleges, simply "offering their opinion". Not so in this case, and through questioning Bush fails to sustain his opinion, when given the opportunity.

Also, notice Bush's "vision" construction, the way "success" is defined, as well as the conflation of al- Quida, Hamas, Hizballah and Iran. Also, the iterated fantasy about "getting Iran back to the table" on the uranium issue - which in fact is conflated until it's an appeal to a preventive attack in order to remove the Iranian capability to produce uranium. Which is preposterous, because the factual conditions on the ground, as well as the Bush- administration's actions so far belies any sincerity about any of this.
Still - I just can't get over how much of an incredibly punchable face the president has.
