.. this time the US and the opposition may be about to do something right.
Ever since the leak to the NYTimes about parts or pieces of the Bush- administration's domestic spying programme (that later would be renamed the TSP, the "Terrorist Surveillance Program") - which the paper incidentally held up over a year at the government's request - there has been a tremendous push to revisit laws on the book and change them into accommodating more.. er... modern times, where the constitution is subservient to executive power, and other progressive things.
Let's recap:
