..if there is such a thing as a set of recurring themes in the realm of all things political,
I cannot seem to actually put my finger on what it is.

In fact, I am beginning to entertain the idea that history simply recurs because it does not happen in the same way each time, and therefore; it does not actually reoccur at all.. hm.
