Tenhle seax vznikal jako moje představa autentické poboční zbraně bohatšího anglosaského bojovníka v dobách proti vikinského odporu. Čepel pro mne vykoval a vybrousil kamarad Petr Dohnal. Je kovářsky svařená z překládané nízkouhlíkové oceli a nástrojové oceli na ostří. Já jsem vyškrabal žlábek a vyzdobil čepel stříbrnou tausií. Poté jsem nůž osadil do vyřezávané rukojeti z ořechového dřeva, zakončené čepičkou, zdobenou vybíjeným ornamentem. Přední dva kroužky jsou z kravského rohu a jeleního parohu
This seax was created to represent my idea of authentic side arm of wealthy saxon warrior in the times of viking resistance. Blade was made by my friend, Petr Dohnal. Its forge welded from 400 layered low carbon steel and tool steel edge. I scraped the groove and embelished the blade with silver inlay. Than I dressed the blade with handle of carved walnut, with silver stamped cap and horn and antler spacers
