Mumbai, India, Terror attack 26-11-2008 about 9:25 pm
Mumbai was the scene of a Terrorist attack, which started from Narriman House and continued at several places i.e. Taj Oberoi Trident Hotel, Madame Cama Memorial hospital, Leopolds Café and the Victoria Terminus Train station now called CST. The encounter lasted for 60 hours before the terror attack was wound up.

5) Baby Moshe whose parents were both killed at the Jewish Centre.
6} The Terrorist who was captured alive.
7} The Taj Oberoi Complex under siege.

9} The brave and courageous Anti Terror Squad head Hemant Karkare who laid down his life in the line of duty along with several of his fellow officers and men .
Conclusion-9 terrorists killed, 1 captured alive and over 200 police, citizens and foreigners {Americans, British, Israelis, Germans and others were gunned down by the terrorists during the 60 hour encounter. Also 2 Black Cat Commandos were killed in action.

The numbering in the legend is all mixed up but I dont know how to correct it The last photo is of the late Hemant karkare the brave ATS Head who lost his life in the encounter . the second is of Baby Moshe
The terrorist is shown in the 6th photo with the weapon in his hands.plese excuse the mix up.

we can excuse the mix up in the legend... but can we excuse the mixed up world that we are living in!!!

i am sure that there will be a time of peace in the world (maybe not in this life time)

France,UK and others ,Pakistan agreed to take action against the men who masterminded the attack on 26/11 at Mumbai and these guys are all Pakis.

Its so wrong when this insanity happens. It only makes Terror a bigger point of what is wrong in the world.

I only have this life time here and God forbid Id face there horror, apart from insanity have they said why yet apart from the obvious. I think one day when people can talk and wealth can listen there will be peace on earth, john

Yes dude, am a Geordie from being born here but my Grandfather was European Gypsy and my Grandmother Irish Catholic.

The funny thing is, people who find this out say "Oh yes you look like Romaine Gypsy or Greek? But my Father is from here and I have his looks, I'm not as tall as him or as good looking.

My Grandfather was short fat bald and ginger god rest his soul. I have a bit on a blog about him, he raised me with my Grandmother god rest. They have been out of my life now for the last fifteen years and I think of them every day

In truth I see one world and people now and I believe we are what we do, apart from that we are all a mongrel mix I think. :headbang:

Yeah mate the mix makes us special people, we can interact with both East and West very comfortably.many members of my family still live in London and my 1st cousins are in Los Angeles CA, USA. My sister lives in Valencia Spain. We are known as the globe trotting Chesneys by our friends. So maybe some day I may pop up in Newcastle :yes: :D: have fun and a happy New Year ... Denis

Thank you for these pictures. We saw very few of them on US media. I'm so sorry it happened. We all need to pray that our leaders come up with a solution to "Politics by provocation". The stakes keep getting higher and higher. But as long as the rest of the world sides with the provocateurs (as in siding with Hamas to get Isreal to stop defending itself, when Hamas is using innocent people (women and childrend included) as human shields). There are some tough decisions to be made here, and no one is willing to do it. And so it goes on.

hi Denis, av been off the map for a bit! At the hart of it I think we know why this all $till goes on and till real people $peek louder than that other real people will be in wonder and fear in a world that wont change? or will it?

I like what the new guy Obama's done already, closing down GWB's prison was a good start and not letting that tax dodger have a job because he still owed $100.000 for his limo and we don't waist your dollars, WTH. Maybe he'll clean house, ours needs a good scrub as we say.

"over here I its mandatory that all the Politicians are Corrupt or have been to jail before they get there jobs.

Update to terror attack 26/11
Today it is nearly 5 months since the attack.Pakistan govt. is still denying involvement and is in big trouble due to nourishing a 'Frankenstein' like monster the Taliban led jehadis. Which is slowly
but surely taking over the feeble government of the state .The worst sufferers being the innocent
people who are not at fault but want to live peaceful lives. What the final outcome will be is unpredictable at this stage.

Ha,ha mate they bite, sorry like but if I had my way they'd get fed to the lions for all the lying! We have a clean out going on here in the UK at the moment, Governments expenses and how most of them have milked it to the tune of £130.000 + each "ah so thats were most of our tax goes"

It stinks mate but I hope this makes the change we need and they should like any criminals get there assets and second houses taken off them. I can only dream about Lion food.
