Welcome to My Page, share my thoughts and Thanks for visiting

The monsoon's have finally arrived. Heralding their entry with dark grey clouds, thunder and lightning. All has suddenly turned grey, dark and wet. The thick summer dust has been washed away, and all trees and vegetation are looking cool and green now. How

What you mean to me

,

What I must say about Opera, and the words come from my heart

There is something which I have wanted to do for quite a while since
I got involved with Opera
That is to tell My Opera Community how much it means to me and why it has become a habit to go online every day (except when the internet connection fails) to browse the site, read my mail, view photos, news and blogs and comment when necessary. It is so heart warming to read what my friends write. These friends whom I have never seen nor have they seen me,except for a photo or 2. But the intensity, of their very presence is so awe
some it can make my day happy or sad and fill me with a real concern for their wellbeing and their day to day interaction with life and its ups and downs . It is so easy to understand their feelings
interests and concerns, just by reading a short message, or deeply examing a post, and reading the various comments and interest it creates. Each person has her/his own personality, and sphere of interest. Which stands out very strongly to identitfy that very person. What an unique experience this is. And I realize how similar
people are even when nationality, race, religion
and status are so diverse.
This is the best part of Opera Community the willingness to be of one accord when the situation demands. Thank you Operaites, Thank you Opera Team and moderators for making all this possible. God bless you all. And Cheers... :D:

Tiny is right. It is people like you that give me hope that we can someday really grasp the humanity we share and be glad for not just the ways we are alike but for what a wonderful contribution our differences make too. I'm glad I met you here.

Same here JC, the feeling is mutual,At present I am in a place in India on vacation, which is like being in a little Colonial period of America ,there are a lot of good American folk who live and work here in the schools and colleges founded by their ancestors a century ago.The Kodaikanal International School.Tamilnadu, India. Here I get to mix with good American intellectuals, very gentle and godfearing folk.Regards and best wishes...Denis

I could not agree more nor put it into better words... A few loved ones of mine just cant understand what I get out of Opera, they do not understand how I can talk to people "I don't know" about life, God, what have you but it is a big part of my life and I just wish I could meet as many beautiful, insightful, loving, and inspirational people in person... But first I live in a teeny tiny nowhere town and second I love the diversity of meeting and getting to know people from around the world and yes you can have meaningful friendships and feel peoples spirit even over the airwaves  I have the best of friends here and everyone is so kind and supportive  I havn't had a bad encounter yet  Some have been friends since the day I joined and they DO become like family, plus there are people out there who have no family or really anyone for that fact., so again beautiful words as you are a beautiful person and I was blessed even more gaining you as a friend  Lyn
