Well here it is - A little later than promised, but I am here! 
I have not had much inspiration recently. Not too sure why, maybe it's because I am so exhausted as I had to work over the holidays, either at my Day job or at the pub. I didn't mind too much though as it is extra money afterall, and we could all do with a bit of that!
Anyhow, my New Year was excellent! I spent it at the same place as last year. I wasn't too happy at that at first as last year was not that great other than getting drunk But this year they had a brilliant DJ, playing Funky House Hip Hop and R&B. I was extremely happy and totally in my element! The evening was flawless, the people were great - And I have to hold my hands up and say "YES, I was wrong!"
I have some lovely pics, mostly drunken, but some very nice ones! It pulled Jon and I together I think. At the end of the night, I put on 'our song' which has not been heard for a long time! I am still waiting to hear the 'L' word for the first time from him still though, But I know that will come in time! I am still not at that point myself though, so I can totally understand! I made the mistake of telling him over Xmas and quickly realised, that it was the occasion more than anything! :S Not the best way to do it! It was done in a nice manner though! I'm good like that.
So now we are in 2006, and today is the first day of work. NOt as bad as I thought it would be! The office is freezing though... Only just warming up now! We have been here since 8.30 though! So it is about time!
I am looking forward to this year. I know I have a few things to straighten out with Pete, but it will all be done. He just has to accept that we are not together anymore! It's a fact. But I totally understand how he is feeling! It's a feeling that I have had many times with Jon, but I really have to see this thing through... I have made my choice and I must live with it! I cannot have my cake and eat it, although it would be nice!
I hope you have all Celebrated in Style and had a great time Partying - I wish everyone the best of luck in the year ahead - Hopefully 2006 will bring great happiness!
