My OperaFunny Mixed Night

Yesterday was boiling here in London... I wasn't best dressed for it and I just felt awful... Anyway, Pete got paid yesterday and we were supposed to be going out. Unfortunately though, once we got to the end of my working day, he called and said that it was probably better that I go to his as he has interviews today and did not want to be carting his suit round everywhere! So that was cool - I decided to go home first and have a shower... Get myself chilled out a little as I was so hot and bothered.
Got ready and went to his... I was knackered on the way home and fell asleep on the DLR - I just about managerd to walk back to my flat I was that exhausted. But, you guys know me... I just got on with it! lol!
So I went to meet pete - The bus seemed to take forever and I was just sitting there putting my makeup on, listening to a couple of kids (who couldn't have been younger than 14) talking about grown up things and using phases like "back in the day" which made me laugh!!! Where do they get it from???
I finally got to Hackney, hungry, hot and bothered!!! I told him I couldn't go anywhere else without some food, my stomach felt like it was eating itself!

Part 2...
Guess where we end up... No where more Romantic than Mac Donalds... Quarter Pounder with Cheese meal! lol!!!
He told me that he's going for an interview on Saturday and that it's for a bit of extra cash so that we can save... Working at a bar. Which means my Friday and Saturday nights will be without him and when I will be with him, he'll probably be tired coz he'll be working and won't get home till about 3/4am so I am not looking forward to that. I am really hoping that he can find a really good day job, so that he doesn't have to do that - otherwise he'll be tired and snappy... I know I would be!
Anyway - we went to the pub for one drink and then back to his and chilled out watching 'Lost'. Then to bed...
So there you have it - My massively exciting evening - I have come to realise that if you expect a lot for a night out, i generally dissappoints - It's the spontaneous nights that are unexpected which are the best!!!
Anyway - back to work... L xx
