The state of London's schools...

, , , ...

Following on from a post from Makeqfit, I was listening on the radio this morning and there has been yet another stabbing at a London School - This time the parents are at it!!! What chance have the children got if the parents are acting like this.

The stabbing took place at a school in Crystal Palace, South East London IN FRONT of pupils! I think it's disgusting behaviour and kids must think 'If Mum and Dad are doing it, it must be ok!' - Which you could understand. Parents should be leading by example. I have always in my life been taught to be polite, to behave and to respect my elders. These days kids are just unbelieveably rude, no manners and violent.

What is it down to? Bad parenting? TV, Video games? school?

My guess would be bad parenting, because if you have control of your childeren and what they watch/ do, then they will be brought up in the correct manner. Although I was not allowed to 'hang' around with the 'in' crew who drank and smoked when I was a young teen - which annoyed me very much! I even lost my best friend because of it - Today I am glad that my parents implemented that as compared to what THEY are doing now, I am streets ahead! That best friend had a kid at the age of 16 and today can only work part time.

Now I am not saying anything about young mothers because I know people who have had kids at 19/20 and are wondeful mothers! BUT, I think 16 is undeniabley too young to be landed with such a huge responsibility in life.

But that is going off the topic. I feel that parents should be more aware that no matter what they think, their kids will always look t them for 'how to live' and by acting like an arse, then there is a good chance the kids will be the same.

Unfortunately for the kid mentioned in Makeqfit's blog, he lost his life for trying to BREAK up a fight. I mean really... What is the world coming to?
