Well hello, on this wonderful day, full of happy and joyful praise! I would like to wish everone a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year!
Although this year has gone very quickly for me, as I have said before, it has not been a good year for me at all. I consider Christmas a time for contemplation and self reflection. Already, I know what I have done right this year and what I have done wrong this year. I have experienced many emotions and met many wonderful people and many nasty people. It is a year where I haev made a great deal of mistakes, but I have learned from these and am now begining to put things right and I am a lot stonger person for it all.
So far, my Christmas morning has been lovely. I got up, operned my presents, had a fry up for breakfast, danced around to christmas songs and listened to The Queen's speech. I am a great supporter of the Royal Family and I feel that they do a lot for the country, despite what the papers say about them! Although, The Queens speech didn't really do it for me this year. I felt that she should have spoken more about July 7th, butit was only touched on. As a country, it was the biggest thing that has happened to us this year and I just felt that more could have been said on the subject. Still... She had many good words to say about the other natural disasters that have occurred this year, which was good.
Tonight I will have my Christmas dinner which I am looking forward to. It's the best part of Christmas I think! People sit round together, eat food, drink and are just gennerally happy! I have to admit, that I am not the biggest fan of Christmas though. I spent many years without one or t'other parent, due to separation or illness... so it was a time of year that I didn't really look forward to. Now that I have both with me and have done for the last 2 years, I am very happy and I also get to spend Boxing Day at Jons's Mum and Dad's, which is very much so a sterotypical, traditional Christmas - Just like in the movies! I love it! So this year will hopefully be a good Christmas Holiday!
I must say though. I am looking forward to 2006... I have a good feeling about it!
I am going to watch more Christmas TV, so I bid you all farewell and a wonderful and fulfilling Christmas.
Love to you all...
