You knew this was coming (Nuno - apologies in advance if I offend.)
England Vs Portugal
Like the Argentinian games, always one filled with controversy and a petulent England wonderboy waiting to explode. How and why does it always happen to us? you can always be guaranteed that England will make it through to the Quarters and go out on penalties.
Portugal, as always, were diving all over the place frustrating our players. It's a disappointing part of the portugese game because they are such talented players, so why spoil the game with stupid and uneccesary ploys to rile the other team, such as diving?
Anyway, I don't think that was the bone of contention. This incident was the decider:
Petulence at the highest level, more so than Beckhams stupid kick against Argentina 8 years ago. When watching the game I thought it was unjust. It wasn't till later whilst watching the news I saw what he did. It was stupid and childish. But what'll happen now, is that he'll probably be made captain for his stupid efforts!!! It's just how ridiculous the English management and English FA is!!! (I must say though, when I found out it was Carvalho, I thought Rooney should have stamped a little harder - Carvalho is a cheat and Chelsea SCUM.) but it was right that Rooney went.
The game though was written on the wall before a ball had even been kicked. With Argentinian officials, the Portugese had a great advantage and especially one being a referee they had a 12th player.
Apart from Rooney - I must congratulate the England boys for putting up such a great fight against a very good team - they showed character and charisma. So well done boys! And may I say it once more - Aaron Lennon is a Legend in the making - no wonder Becks didn't wanna come off!!! Your England Career is over! You are out done Beckham!
Over and out from the England camp!!!

The weather in London the past week has been beautiful. My weekend has been almost flawless... Jon and I walked to London Bridge and then hopped on the river boat back to Canary Wharf, where we went to a friends house for a barbeque and we watched the England game. It was a lovely day... we also watched the other two games... It was just nice because we were chatting and laughing, hugging and kissing - It's all been lovely recently
Today I popped back to my flat to pack things up - It was all going well until I noticed that my hairclip was missing. Now to put things in perspective, I bought that clip from Dubai and it was a metal clip with lovely coloured stones in. It cost me £20 for that clip alone, so as you can imagine, I am not happy! I don't want to say anything to my Landlady as she's a little feisty and will probably not give me all of my money back. :S
On a better note, I went to meet Jon in Canary Wharf as he had been at the gym. We went to watch the first half of the football (Holland Vs Serbia & Mont), then we made our way back to Jon's where we watched the rest of the match, had a lovely salad and just chilled really
Everything seems to be really positive with us at the moment - I am really happy and I hope it contines to stay this way. We seem to have more of an understanding now of how eachother are in general these days - It's helping in our everyday tolerance.
Anyway - That's it for now - Plase take a moment to check out my sposorship page and please sponsor me, it's for a great cause and I really want to make a difference. My Sponsorship Page
I know you are not used to abusive posts from me... however, I said I would not be disappointed if Arsenal lost to Barcelona - But I lied. I am sorry, but this post inculdes bad language.
Barcelona fucking cheated their way the the cup. We, although we had our gk sent off, were by fartch. Wthe best fucking team on the pitch. With 10 men, we were far superior. The referee was a wanker, Twat I can go on, but I won't. As I am supposed to be a respecyed memeber of the community.
What I will say is, Henry can fuck off to Barca and I hope Van Persie shine!
Now being an England fan, I am used to getting my hopes sky high and then having them dashed in the quarter or semi finals of big championships such as the World Cup!!! I am extremely excited about the World Cup this year though. We have probably one of the best teams we have ever had which include Robinson (GK), Cole (D), Terry (D), Carragher(D), Ferdinand (D), Beckham (M), Lampard (M), Gerrard (M), Rooney (F), Owen (F) who are all superstars and I think that they are a highly spirited team with some very influential players.
Now I know Rooney is injured, but he is young and in my opinion will be fit to play his part in the World Cup, maybe not from the start, but hopefully in the later stages. I am very pleased with Sven's inclusion of Aaron Lennon who has had an amazing first full season at Tottenham Hotspur. Although still only 19, he has clearly made his mark on the Premiership and after having a sensational 2005/ 2006 season, Sven rightly included him in his World Cup Squad!
The shock, however, has come in the form of a very young Theo Walcott. Although I am over the moon for the boy (I am an Arsenal fan you see), I find it hard to comprehend how his addition is going to aid the England boys. Theo has NEVER played a game in the Premiership and had only played a few games for Southampton in the Championship before his 5 million move to Arsenal in January 2006. Even Wenger was 'shocked' at the call up. But if Walcott does make the final squad selection - I wish him the best of luck and I hope he shines!
Lastly, I have to say I am left wondering if Sven is just having a joke with this year as he failed to call up Darren Bent, who has had the best season of his career. The 21 year old who plays for Charlton Athletic, has scored 22 goals this season. 18 of them in the league and 4 in domestic cups!!! So when you think that Sven has included Theo Walcott with NO Premiership experience at the tender age of 17 and has left out Darren Bent who is one of the Premiership leading scorers this season, it makes me think that he clearly doesn't care anymore, he would just like his settle ment money and can't wait to leave his post as England manager!!!
But overall - whoever goes to the World Cup - I will be 100% behind them! COME ON ENGLAND!!!
