I was really looking forward to the holiday! Just relax, eat lots of delicious food, and of course, play as much Zelda as possible. I now played for about 60 hours, and I'm getting closer to the end. My plan was to finish Zelda during the holiday.. Well, that's not what happened. On 23rd of December, after we had cleaned the flat, I sat down with my dad and played some Zelda. After a while he asked me if he could try, so I made a new quest for him, so he had his own save file. Ever since I did that, my Wii has been occupied by my dad. Now my holiday is over, and my progression in Zelda during the holiday is close to nothing.
I'm really looking forward to the day when my dad's vacation is over.

I actually forgot about my blogging during the night. Anyway, the two guys in front of me got the Wii for free! If I just had been 2 hours earlier, i would have gotten it for free. Anyway, still worth it. When the store opened, there was probably around 120 guys in queue, and the store had only ~60 consoles. I know I shouldn't feel this way, but the feeling I got when I saw those 60 last guys in the queue walk empty-handed home, I felt great!
The Wii has completely taken over my life. Since I bought it (two weeks ago), I've played 54 hours of Zelda, several hours of COD3, several hours of Red Steel, and of course lots of hours of Wii Sports. Considering that I'm working ~70 hours a week (Yeah, i got 3 jobs), I haven't done much else than playing, working, sleeping and eating the last couple of weeks.

Only three hours before i have a wii in my hand. btw, found out that my tent is far from water proof. everything is soaking wet here. there are about 30 guys in the queue now.

The tent is now up! My macbook is online through my cell phone. I guess it's about 10-15 guys here by now, i'm third in line! I'm guaranteed a Wii! OH YEAH! Well, it's time to watch the animated movie Cars! Back in a couple of hours!

Only hours before i'm heading to elkjop, and i can't find my tent. the rain is still poring down. looks like it will be a long night. but in the end, we all know it's worth it. stay tuned for the continue!
EDIT:
I found the tent, and I've finished my "Recognition" trip to Elkjop. I think I'll get some sleep now. The weather is still pretty bad.
Only 2 hours left before i go to Elkjop!!

nintendo, wii, queue, release
Finally! only 24 hours before the store opens! In about 12 hours i will go to Elkjøp Lørenskog (an electronical store not far from oslo) to get in queue. I have sources that says the store will only get 66 consoles, so I'm not taking any chances. I really want that Nintendo tomorrow! With me i will bring my MacBook, my PSP, a book, my iPod, a tent, a sleeping bag and some real warm clothes. The forecast says about 2-5 degrees Celcius, and rainy.
