Sidney & Jenny moved to their new house in Monteverde de Cebu. Bernice was born to Elvie & Carlo by caesarian section. A week after, Elvie had another operation for hematoma. Happy delivered on the 17th of October, their third boy, Beau Gabriel. Delivery was normal but the baby had some defect and was on oxygen. He went through so much but put on weight and progressed. He would have come homeon the the 4th of January the following year, but on the 3rd, Godtook him away. It was a great pain to Happy & Boy and to all of us. But we accepted God's will. Jenny also had her baby, Michael Jeffrey (MJ) on the 27th of October. The family bore the pain of Beau's loss together. So did many friends -- it surprised and touched us how he aroused so much love and sympathy, even from those least expected. Messages flowed in from Claire and family, Hermes and Nollie, Necnec and Newton, Didi, Meme -- and from Daddy's Internet friends, mostly members of the Crouzon network. This picture was taken New Year's Day 1999 with all the family. And very surely hovering around and above us are our two little angels, Carlo & Elvie's Janni & Baby Beau.
